CVS CVS ECB deals - Sales for Week 11/11-11/17

I LOVE IT!!!! :rotfl2: You should add in a couple of mystery boxes  and tag a couple items so only you know they are special "prize" items where the recipient gets a bonus!

What time should I be there ? :rolleyes1

I love that idea!!! I think I'm going to do that!!! And I think I might make a mystery box that has additional "dollars" in it to spend!

Dec 22, 2-6pm. But you must leave all Patriots and Red Sox paraphenalia at home or you will be required to strip to enter this Redskins/Orioles house. :teeth:

Our extracare rewards link to the december coupon is gone. So sad. Oh well..as long as they keep sending them to someone at HCW, I manage to get my hot little hands on them.

Which one is gone? The $4/20? If I use the link in my browser, it still brings up the coupon. :confused3

Someone mentioned getting blacklisted. Exactly how do you get blacklisted and what happens to you? I'm using a ton of the coupons I print off the net and also the $/$$ ones that CVS sends me or I find a link for on the net.
I haven't had any problems yet but I would hate to do the wrong thing and get in trouble!

I've done it - I try to only use one computer-printed CVS coupon at a time, but I have gotten away with using a $4/20 CRT, a $5/30 CRT and a $2/10 printed (on a purchase that was about $35 to begin with). It depends on the clerk.

I got chewed out last week for handing coupons in a certain order (duh!), but yesterday another clerk grabbed all mine out of my hand and used the CRT $4/20 last (when total was $11-something) and it went through without beeping and she said that shouldn't have worked.

I'm getting tired of the coupon police.

My local store started grabbing at my coupons to put them in their order. Now, I keep them in an envelope in my purse and dole them out in the order I want. They won't reach into my purse...at least they haven't yet :rotfl: .

I don't know about blacklisted. I do know my name is on a "list" in the pharmacy for using Rx coupons. All were legit transsactions. I can't help it if we have a lot of Rx's and I find coupons. They look over the fine print very carefully before issuing me a gift card. I wonder if having my name on a board in their pharmacy is in line with HIPPA policies ;) .
My store just isn't very nice to me anymore. They sort of won as I haven't done as much CVS'ing lately. I'm actually running low on deodorant (I gave a bunch away) so I will need to get back into it.

That's a good idea about keeping them in your purse - I have one that says, "I need your coupons before I start to ring this up."

I'd be happy to send you Adidas deodorant! I don't have any women's though (except the one I'm using!).

I did the Shrek III thing today. Bought 2/$1 candy bars and used a $4/20 with my $10 Shrek coupon from last week and then gave them my email printout for triple reward and you shoulda seen the look I got at the end with the total ($5.30) - and I only used a $2 ECB too, I could've had it down to cents with more ECBs.

I can't imagine what these people would do if I started doing what the slickdeals posters do and bought every blood sugar monitor they had - if you read those boards, they are making $20.01 with each purchase using a diabetes book coupon and then getting a $20 ECB on top of that.

I have a lot of prescriptions too, but I've only done the gift card twice because I love the pharmacy at my closest store.

I went last night to CVS looking for some items. Well, I got a few CRT's from the scanning machine walking in. It printed one for the Venus razors on sale this week. After walking around the store, I found a cute venus razor in a "holiday pack" which included the razor, refills, secret platinum deo. and something else. :confused3
So, I paid
8.99 (sale price) for the venus razor holiday pack
-2.00 man. coupon
-3.00 Crt
then got back the $4 ECB so it was free....I also did this same thing with the fusion mens razor but it cost me $1. I paid for it all with a gift card from the pharmacy.
I also did the Dove revitilizer....my also 13 DD will be happy with her stocking this year as she loves this kind of stuff right now:woohoo:

and then gave them my email printout for triple reward

When did you get the email for the triple rewards? I didn't get one this time... :confused3

Well-I went to CVS for the first time yesterday. I live about 40 minutes away from the closest one.

I think I did pretty good-I did the Tylenol deal, the battery one and a few others. I got back $36 in ECBs. I left and came back after going to a few other stores and got the items I wanted that weren't giving ECBs with the ECBs I had just earned. Total for 2nd trip was $36.71 and I only had to pay the $.71 OOP.

The guy that rang me up both times was surprised at how well I did for my 1st time there. Little did he know I was scouring the posts here and at HCW!

Very good! Welcome to CVS anonymous!

Lana-Which TC store is closest to you? I was at the Plymouth one last night, but in reality, the one in Chaska/Chanhassen is probably closer to me

My mom loves the one in Chaska, that's pretty new I think. There's a nice one (friendly) in Shakopee - we go eat at the seafood buffet at the casino about 3 times a year so I get to stop there once in awhile. I grew up in Mound, so I know the area.

I'm on the east side - I go to one on White Bear Ave. and the one in Woodbury. There are also two in St. Paul that are always completely stocked - one on University and one on Arcade, but no kidding, it's risky to go to either, very dangerous neighborhoods and scary to get inside the store because creeps hang out in the parking lots. I don't know why they put those huge nice CVS stores in those locations. My husband banned me from both lol

There's also one on Grand Ave. in St. Paul, but I haven't been there, am assuming it's small like the Woodbury store and parking is probably hard to find.

I live about 60 miles west of the TC, so obviously I won't be making runs to CVS several times a week with the price of gas. Only will probably go there 1) if the deals are too good to pass up or 2) if I am going to be by one while I am there doing other things.

Are all CVS open 24 hours? (Obviously some of the ones downtown you wouldn't want to go to after dark) But we will be going through the TC coming back from Winona in a few weeks, but probably not going to stop on the way down, but possibly could on the way back if they are open 24 hours. (Sad I am already planning my next run to CVS:rotfl: )

Lonely me posting here, but I found a great deal!

The Energizer charger and 2 re-chargeable batteries are on sale for $8.99 (regular $24.99! - but sale priced or mis-priced at $9.99 without card). The 4 pack AA and AAA Energizer rechargeable batteries are on sale for $8.99 each (regular $11.29). There is a $2 peelie on the 4-pack batteries, good when you buy the batteries and the charger.

$10 ECB when you buy $20.

I bought 2 chargers with 2 free batteries each, 2 4-packs of AA and 1 4-pack of AAA and got $20 back in ECBs (and used 3 $2 coupons and 2 $4/20 - did 2 separate transactions and added a $2.49 clearance item that I went there to buy).

I did not see this in the ad, but there was a sign up by the batteries and the sign was for this week only. $30.95 with $20 back in ECBs. This is a steal for rechargeables and I have 2 great gifts that anyone can use.

Now, the regular Energizer deal that is in the ad says limit of 1, I was able to do 2 on this and I don't know if it's a secret sale or if it allowed 2 or if I was able to do 2 because it was done the same day - I've sometimes gotten 2 ECB limit of 1 deals when I've purchased on the same day. After getting $20 in ECBs on this, my receipt says offer limit reached, but it said $26.97 after the first transaction (bought 1 charger and 2 packs), so I had $6.97 towards my next $20.

On another note.. I was denied a $5 Tylenol coupon again because even though the coupon says Tylenol, Motrin, etc., CVS's registers only know it as Tylenol codes (was buying Children's Motrin). Didn't want to argue, but then after being frustrated at that, I forgot to give the clerk my $3.50 Dove Vitalizer stupid coupon too. Was mad at myself the whole way home - these people are sick of me as it is so wasn't going back in for that.

I have had alot of trouble with the energize recharables lately, last time they ran this ad, a month or two ago, I bought all new charger and batteries and they won't hold a charge for 5 minutes, literally!

Not all are 24-hour, but most are open until 10 pm. If you got to CVS.com and click on store finder and enter a zip, it gives a list of all in that area and shows the 24-hour ones.

Yikes, that is not good! I always think of Energizer as better than others - I have rechargeable 15-minute Rayovacs and I'm going on 2 years for the first set of 4.

I am keeping one charger and one set of batteries and using the other and 2 sets of batteries for a gift so I better try them out first.

On my big post about it, I said I didn't see it in the ad, but now I did - it's on the camera page. Also, found out the reason it allows 2 of this deal, rather than one is that we're allowed one for the regular Energizer $10 ECB wyb $20 and one for rechargeables, but you can do 2 of either it seems.

I find a good time to deal with bad neighborhoods would be to go before 10 am. The creeps tend not to be awake yet at that hour.

I tried that, there's just too many of them on different shifts. My mom can find the best warehouse sales in the seediest neighborhoods so I must've learned this from her.

One odd thing at those 2 CVS stores is that I've noticed that the regular prices on almost everything is 29 cents higher. I wonder if it's because it's in the actual city.

I go to the same store every Sunday morning, I get off work just as they are opening. The guy that works there is VERY cute and flirty. He's never given me a hard time. He says hello everytime I walk in the door. He even asked me last week why I hadn't brought in a triple rewards slip. He's gone alot tho and sometimes this lady fills in for him (can always tell when he's not there...the ECB signs aren't up). Shes cordial..not overly friendly..but she always corrects any errors I find with a smile so no complaints.

Actually, I'm kind of worried about black friday. I'm not sure which CVS I'll go to b/c my regular one is 45min from home (by work) and I plan to do all my shopping in a town the opposite direction so I'll have to pick another one. Wonder if I should scope out the layout on Wednesday...if for no other reason than to figure out where the camera I want will be!

Speaking of pharmacy, I got my first gift card the other day! I had the line backed up a mile tho b/c every coupon valued at over $20 has to have a manager card scan. My son came down with a viral infection AND strep throat. My copay for the visit was $20 and for the medicine it was $10...so after I got my $25 gift card my oop was $5. How awesome is that? I LOVE CVS!

Thanks Lana-I went to CVS.com and the one we would be going by is only open until 10:00. Hmmmm...what to do now? Leave earlier to stop on the way down or leave early to stop on the way back? Or both! :rotfl:
