If you have any free twelve pack coupons from My Coke Rewards go to CVS today. Twelve packs are on sale for $3.33 but the coupon scans for $4.99. Moneymaker!!:cool1:

THey won't give you money back, but you can in essence get a product for free with your overage. I had coupons for four packs. The packs cost me $13.33, but my coupons deducted $19.96, so I had $6.63 in "free money" to spend on other items.

In my experience "free" coupons almost always scan at their max value at CVS. I discovered this with a BOGO a while back where they took off $8.99 when the free product was only about $6... I'm not complaining...

Oh, and I just looked at my upcoming ad... tomorrow they should be $3/12pk, so an even BETTER deal tomorrow. Thanks for the heads-up, wouldn't have though of it! Wish the rest of my stupid coupons would arrive.

An even better deal the week of Jan 20th! The ad scan on iheartcvs shows coke will be $2.50 each!!!

So, again, THANKS for this heads-up... because when I was at CVS anyway today, picking up DD's prescription, I had my free coupon with me... which reminded me I had a BOGO coupon to use which was also an overage... when all was said and done, I had gotten a ton of "free" stuff, and I'm halfway to that "spend $30/ get $10" deal they have going on on Coke and other products... MCR says they mailed my other 4 coupons on the 7th, so now I'm totally geeked for them to arrive...

I'll "buy" my 4 12-packs for "$12", creating a $7.96 overage... some of that I'll "spend" on a pack of Duracells (because, hey, free batteries!) and that will kick me over the $30 requirement... I'll get a $10 CVS card AND have a $1.96overage left to use up. What to spend the other $1.96 on?

I'm a nitwit. Went to CVS to try this deal but I didn't take my phone. I saw the 3/$9 display and talked myself out of it because I know there's a "Buy 3, get 2 free" deal around Superbowl time at the supermarkets. I forgot this is an over outing deal and couldn't bring up this read to see why I went there, lol.

Update: went back yesterday and bought the sale soda with the coupons, but the manager overrode the coupon price saying it had to be the actual retail price, not the price it rang up at initially. Ah well, live and learn. Should have held out for the Superbowl sales.

Thanks for posting this OP! I just went to CVS tonight with my 4 My Coke Reward coupons that I got last month, and I walked out with 8 - 12 packs of Coke for under $2. Plus I earned $20 toward the "Spend $30 get $10 back" promotion". My sister gave me her coupons to go redeem for her tomorrow. I am not usually a big CVS shopper, so I would not have thought to go there to redeem my Coke coupons if you would not have posted this,. Thanks again :thumbsup2

My store overrode the price too. But at $2.50 each this week, it's still a great price.

Maybe it just depends on the cashier. The girl that rang up my purchase was very young, and maybe she just didn't know that she was supposed to override the price. I'm going to try again tonight with my sister's coupons, so I might have a totally different experience this time.

FWIW, I was able to get the $4.99 off the $2.50 12 packs yesterday, no problems. The system only let me use two coupons per transaction, though (though on closer inspection, the coupon actually says 1 per purchase, so I'm happy with two.) There's no reason you can't do multiple transactions, it just means you have to line things up more carefully. <sigh> Going to a different one (just because I'll be passing it) today with my last 2 coupons and the $10 ecb all that coke got me, and we'll see if it's any different there.
