CVS BLACK FRIDAY Nov 26-28 ad!

Oldbay -- If you've not used the $4 ECBs when you spend $20 coupon in the holiday catalog, this would be a good time.

lisaross -- Does ad by any chance include Intuitions on the razor deal? The coupon in Sunday's paper is for Quattro OR Intution -- I'd sure love to pick up some cartridges for my favorite razor.

I have to share my horror story somewhat related to the CVS BF sale. We went to a specialty farmers market/grocery store about 40 minutes from where I live on Saturday to buy some special food for Thanksgiving. Sunday morning I realized I did not have my coupon box -- I had left it there! Not only do I have all my regular coupons in the box, but also all my ECBs (about $60 right now on two cards) and two $20 Gift of Savings certificates for Rite Aid. On top of that, I've had all my CVS printable q's ready for days for BF and they are in there, too. Thankfully I called the store Monday (they were closed Sunday) and they had it!! So I made another 40 minute drive there tonight to pick up my coupon box, and picked up a few more baked goods for the freezer to boot! :cutie: WHEW!

Yikes!!! :scared1: So glad it turned out ok.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I'd be mad the whole way there and very happy on the way back! I happy you got your coupons back!:cheer2:

Novice question here but are you all breaking it into seperate deals or just checking it all out together? If splitting it up, anybody care to share how? What I always wonder is whether there's any real advantage to splitting the receipts if the store's busy and there's an antsy line behind me?

I keep meaning to keep on top of it but tend to lose track and then have to start over b/c I wasn't paying attention and EB's expired. This time though, I really do plan to watch more closely and maximize all savings...:goodvibes

First, I have to say I LOVE your Mike and Sully pic in your siggy.

I was just working out my scenarios now. This is what I hope to do, knowing it doesn't always work out that way.:

Transaction 1
Ear Buds
Vaseline
Degree
Just For Men
Hershey Single
King Size Mars
I will use a 5/30 coupon and coupons for the Vaseline, Just For Men, Degree, and Hershey's single (Bliss Bogo).
Total without tax is about $20.26. I have enough ECB to cover this. Will get around $27 ECB back

Transaction 2
Bic
Remote
Dynapop
Schick
2 Irish Spring packs at .99 each
I will use a 5/30 printable and coupons for the Bic and Schick. Will pay about $22 using ECB's from transaction #1 and get back about $29 ECB.

Transaction 3
Crockpot
3 Herbal Essences
Hershey Kisses Bogo
Aquaphor (not on sale -- we need it)
I have no idea what this total will be, but will get back $10 ECB for crock pot and $6 for Herbal Essences (they have a new shampoo that I love).

I'm not getting the Colgate 360 toothbrush or the St. Ives body wash because I don't have the coupons I need to make them free and I don't need anymore body wash or toothbrushes if I have to pay for them.

Hope this helps!

I forgot to say that I will use another 5/30 on the last transaction and I also have coupons for the Hershey Kisses.

I also wanted to mention that if there is a line behind me I don't have them ring up my transactions all at once. I'll do a transaction and then go to the end of the line or let the person behind me go if it's only one person. I don't think it is fair to hold up the line with multiple transactions.

I'd LOVE scenarios! I have NO ECBS, I actually let $10 worth expire!

I have 2 cards. I'd love to print the contact solution coupon. I GOT the solei coupon to print, & I have the shick (x2 each) and got the colgate coupon & the vasaline coupon (both x 2). I also have a 4/20 from the gift book and a 4/20 emailed for one card.

I have to start from scratch. We're almost out of stuff!

I have most of the recent coupons, and the all you (coupons x 2 but all you x1) and pretty much anything that gets mailed out I get.

Any good ways to restart this week?

Are they (CVS casher) ok with you using some many 5/30's coupons? I want to do 4 different transactions with two different cards all using the 5/30, am I allowed?

Any help would be great. Is it all up to the casher? I have some really great ones and not so great at both stores.

maggiew posted some Thanksgiving scenarios on the weekly thread, post #27:

Sooo... My CVS is 24 hours and drum roll please...

CVS items are already available.

I was just there in at 12:37AM (yes that's AM) and out in 20 minutes:

The Bic Razor $6.99 - less $2 coupon
Feminine Products $5.29 - not sale but the reason I went out
The head phones $6.99
b1g1 wrapping paper $2.99 - decent selection colors/patterns are actually kind of cute, I got two different snowmen papers
Refils for the Razor - $7.99 less $2 coupon, also not on sale but kind of necessary
b1g1 hershey's kisses $3.99 less $1 coupon
M&Ms $1.59
Reese's Cups $0.89
My total before ECB was over $42.

I redeemed $22 in ECB and had $7.55 OOP and I got back $14.47 in ECB. Just before I left I was trying to find the Bic coupon and I accidentally downloaded a virus which messed up my printer. I was able to download one copy of the coupon. If I can get another to print I might go back and get the second razor.

The guy at the register must have thought I was nuts going for these deals before the signs were even up. But like I said I had to go anyway (such a Pain :rolleyes1).

Made out like a bandit yesterday-
Did 4 transactions- they were out of a few things already which messed up my scenarios, but it all worked out in the end. Got $104 worth of product using $24 ecbs, coupons and 2 5/30 coups... left paying only tax and left with 41.59 ecbs...
