CVS Batteries, 80 AAs for $14.99!

On the last page of this week's CVS ad is BOGO CVS batteries. It says it does not include the battery storage box and utility box. (Special packaging.) But when I was at my CVS they had a Mega Value Pack, 40 AAs, in a (paper) box with a handle. $14.99 All of the other CVS batteries (except the plastic storage box ones) had BOGO stickers, so I wasn't sure if these were included. I brought it to the register and it was ringing BOGO free.

The 10 pack of AAs was $6.89, so you get 20 for that price. Making them $.34 each. 80 for $14.99 is $.18 each!

I don't know if you have a BJ's membership or not, but they have really cheap batteries there. they are the Berkeley and Jensen brand and the AAA's, a 32 pack are $6.99. and if you can wait til next week, starting the 12th, they will even be $2 cheaper. our remote eats AAA's so we stock up

I didn't see AAAs, but I wasn't looking for them either. I ran in to get a Rx, noticed the big box and went to the register. Can't hurt to look!

This week you can get a 20 pack of AAA or AA Duracel batteries from Staples and get it all back in staples rewards, so the batteries are essentially free.

I did it on Black Friday, they were offering it then too. The pack was $12.99 for AAs (can't recall how many). You scan your Staples Rewards card and then pay the $12.99. Then they issue you a Staples Rewards check for the $12.99 sometime in the future.

Yes, it's on page 16 of this week's ad.

And I think you can get the rewards card right there at the register, but I've had mine a while. Best thing to do is call the store and ask.

(And I'm wondering if I can do it AGAIN, I'm going to have to call them myself!)

I ran into my closest cvs a bit ago but couldnt find the batteries. Where did you find them OP? My stores mgr says they must not have them.

How are these batteries btw? Dh has this thing against no name batteries but I like a lot of the other cvs brand items.

The were at the end of the aisle, but still IN the aisle (not the endcap). With the special battery packaging, plastic boxes that were specially made to hold different sized batteries (like a clear toolbox or tackle box like thing).

Guess the first store I went in was just out, because the second store had them with all the batteries, but separate from the specially packaged ones.

blessedby3, check into the plug and charge kit or rechargables. It is so much cheaper for the xbox controllers.
