I am trying to figure out the best way to hit these stores. I already have my lists and RR/ECB's ready to go but I am just trying to figure out what to hit and when. We have 1 CVS and 2 Walgreens. The CVS and 24/7 Walgreens are a couple of blocks away from each other. CVS opens at 9 and the 24/7 Walgreen's sale starts at 12am but I cannot go at that time (DH is working overnight shift). The other Walgreens opens tomorrow at 9am (same time as CVS) and it is about 20 minutes away from the other stores. How would you tackle all 3 tomorrow? I am just too tired from my week I can't even plan. Thanks for all your help.

You may want to call your CVS and check, I know ours is opening at 7am tomorrow morning.

I think I'm hitting both tomorrow morning; maybe I'll call to see when they open. [Edit: CVS: 7am; Wags 9am] I'm having a baby soon, and can get all of those extra care bucks and register rewards and turn them right around into diapers, plus get tons of free items. I've matched up what coupons I have to the free items, but I'm just a casual CVS couponer at best.

Plus, the Walgreens iTunes gift cards seems to be the best around... better than Targets. It's buy a $30 iTunes, get a $10 Walgreens gift card, which is 33% off.

Are you going to split your orders or just buy all at once? I can probably use all of the rewards easily enough on diapers, but it seems like sooo many different rewards to keep track of. My two stores are about a mile away from each other and a couple miles from my house. Hopefully won't take too long. Thanks!

Wait, I'm confused - are they starting their deals tomorrow instead of Friday? I was hoping to get the ITunes card deal and a few others but thought I'd have to go Friday. This stuff is so hard to keep track of!

Pretty sure it's tomorrow. That's what my ad says. :)

Thanks - I don't have any ads - I thought they came out tomorrow. See how confused I am?! :rotfl: Well, I'll be putting the turkey in at 8 and taking the dog to the park from 8:30-9:30, so hopefully there might be some things left for me around 10. I'd at least like to get the wrapping paper!

My ads came in the mail yesterday. I bet things will be left--sounds like lots of people are confused!

My CVS usually turns on their new sales for the week around 6:00 the night before so they can put out the shelf tags. I went down tonight praying to the Holy of God of Turkey :worship: that maybe, just maybe, they would do this for their Thanksgiving sale, too, but no luck. Looks like I'll be there at 8:00 tomorrow.

Yes, you might want to call because ours is CLOSED tomorrow. There are two others with 3-4 miles of our house that are open. Apparently they're doing that throughout the country.

I was at CVS at 11:30pm and it was pretty packed and it took 2hrs to get out of there. We got everything we came for and all the other shoppers were super helpful and nice so the time went quickly.

But there were a lot of items that they were out of by midnight since they were in everyone's carts so anyone coming in this morning is likely to be disappointed.

If anyone was looking to get the Happy Nappers B1G1 deal it is available on their site right now. I was going to get up and go this morning but thought I would check it out as my nearest Walgreens is a half hour away.

There is also a $10 off $50 code SAVINGS10 and free shipping over $25. So I bought the two Happy Nappers (dragon and dog, I may exchange the dog later for the monkey if the store has it) along with a GF Champ grill, and a bottle of Bullfrog Sunscreen gel for our upcoming trip. With tax it came to $44 which would have been the cost of the 2 Happy Nappers at regular price!

I was also going to go to get the iTunes card and some wrapping paper, TP and paper towels. I have confidence they will still have the iTunes cards tomorrow and the other stuff as well. If not, it is no biggie lol. The Nappers were the most important thing.

I went to CVS at 8:30 and Wags at 9 (CVS opened at 7). I got everything I wanted except the Electrasol tabs at CVS and ended up making a dollar thanks to coupons. Also got everything I wanted at Wags, including the iTunes gift card deal and free Redbox movie. Have a lot of RRs and ExtraCare bucks now (about $50 total) that I'll buy diapers with soon, once I can rack up some more coupons and find a sale. All in all, it wasn't crowded, everyone was nice, and I was back home in an hour.

My Wags didn't carry the Happy Nappers, but they are cute--my kids have them.
