Last year we had a very informative conversation about Valentine's Day and the products on sale at CVS.

I think this year, I'll stick with chocolate that's on sale. It's budget, it's yummy and I know we both enjoy it.

We went to CVS on Sunday. I had a Theraflu coupon I wanted to use, and happen to find it marked down to 4.49 for both the pills and the packets. I wiped out my packed supply when DH and I were both sick in December. The packet boxes had a better coupon, get 2 boxes and get $3.50 off. By packets I mean the mix you add to hot water.

I bought like 8 boxes. I adore this stuff, great for early morning sore throats.

Anyway as I was rounding the corner the end cap at the way back had a huge display of Theraflu. And a sign that said buy 2 of the boxes of Theraflu packets and get $3 back. limit 3 deals. This deal was good from Mid January to Mid March. They had coupons right on the box, so 2 boxes are 5.48 and then you get $3 back.

The kicker is of course the ecb didn’t print. I showed the manager the sign and he just printed me $9.

My mom has gone to 2 other stores on the other side of town and hasn’t seen this sign. But they do have the Theraflu on sale with the coupons.

Anyone else know what I am talking about or have you see the sign?

I’ll go back this week and do the deal for my mom with DH’s card, but don’t know why it was only at my store. plus why didn’t it print the ecb.

DH is pumped for the deodorant. It's his favorite. He'll come up to me and tell me he smells like "Palm trees, sunshine and freedom" when he uses it (what the sticker on them says)!
