Thank goodness there is a Band-Aid deal! DS2 is obsessed with "boo boo bam bays" (boo boo band-aids) so he claims he has several invisible boo boos a day just to get band-aids.

Let's hope they have some boy themed ones. DH refused to let me buy Hello Kitty ones on the clearance rack at the Commissary.

If you go to CVS between today (7-15-09) and Friday and scan your card at the machine ( looks like this: http://iheartcvs.com/uploaded_images/scanner-720241.jpg ), it is likely that you will received a CVS coupon for $15 off any Alli purchase and also a coupon for $10 off any $50 purchase. Not all stores have this machine, some people receive their coupons on their cash register receipt so must make a purchase first. My fav store's printer has been out, so I went by another. I was hoping to get this on both cards, but only got it on the main one. I also got the nuts/water and the shampoo.

My other card got a 5/30.... I asked about the photo books and they had three, agreed if I did those 3 they would give me the rainchecks for the others (5 on one card and 2 on the other) Sooo. I had to buy 3 bags of $0.99 candy to get them quiet enough. Also they had some toys on clearance, so Jonah got a $0.70 trandformer, and they had 3 High School Musical 3 CDs reduced to $2 each, I got one for Hannah and the others to put in my gift stash. They also had the pedicare gentle vapors unit reduced to $2.20.
Soo... I did 3 photobooks = $23.97, $6 for the cds, $2.20 for the vapor unit, $2.97 for candy, $1.98 for nuts (also got the nuts CRT) and a $0.70 cent transformer. I used the $5/30 & the $2 nuts CRT. Then I used all of the ecbs on this card (it's my spare) and my oop was $7.31. & I ended up with a single $23.97 ECB. I end up always having to pay tax for some reson. I may take the gentle vapor thing back, but for $2 I figured we'd use it. I would have gotten out cheaper if I didn't have to buy the candy either, but oh well. Also my store had lots of new nuts, sunflower kernals, different kinds of mixed nuts. I'm going to try to run bye again tomorrow to keep getting the nuts. I think I can roll that big ECB with the school supplies this week. I LOVE the books, but really have no interest in the DVDs.

Is there some sort of strategy to getting $/$$ coupons?? I've only ever received one as an email and never any on a CRT. My stores don't have the scanners that print out coupons. I'd love to have one this week to use for beach supplies. What am I doing wrong?

I wish I got that CRT, it's my favorite shampoo/conditioner now. I got 4 CRTs on Monday, then the $1 off water and the $2/2 nuts yesterday and today I got a $10/50 (everyone seems to be getting them!) and another $1 off water and the $2/2 nuts. I've bought 2 cases of the water today that is $2.99 on sale and used the coupon. I usually refuse to buy bottled water, but it's so convenient to bring along in the car, etc.



Anytime! lol I bought some other stuff too, but that was all worth mentioning. I will have to try to get up early on Sunday to get the school supplies.

Oh, the panty liners are ringing at 89 cents and giving an 89 cent ECB, so we won't have problems like some did on the last sale with them: I got mine for 89 cents and got a 99 cent ECB and then the system wouldn't take it so I had to explain why to the cashier who thought I was speaking in an alien language.

LanaJae, I know I have at least one Fruitopia coupon. Probably more if I look through my file. If you PM your address you can gladly have it/them!

I noticed something somewhat funny at the photo kiosk. The one machine has a permanent sticker that says the photo CD is 2.99 but there is a little sale tag up on the top of the machine that says 3.99. I wonder if they would honor the 2.99 (obviously wouldn't do it during the sale next week) sticker.

I saw that sign here too. That is for the CD, which is just to store pictures. The DVD is a slide-show with music in the background and it usually costs $14.99. It's really kind of dumb as anyone could make one at home with Windows Movie Maker so it's only good for rolling extra bucks.

Great trip! I'm glad you got at least one of the Alli coupons. I started taking it, so far I don't feel anything and I haven't had to go buy any Depends

You aren't doing anything wrong, it takes a few months of regular shopping to start getting them and then they come fast and furious and then they die out if you keep shopping all the time. Some people who only shop once a month keep getting the $/$$ for 1 year+ after they start. I went for nearly a year with no coupons after getting them all the time, now I get about half of what others do and I never get $/$$ unless its from a scanner - they did something special this week to the scanners to give one to everyone I think. It's happened before, but I missed it on my 2nd card.

Thank you so much for the offer! I found Reinventing Beauty magazines today and bought 4 copies so I have several right now. Have you tried that shampoo? Someone here wrote about it (maybe JustMickey or Puffkin?) so I tried it and now I don't want to use anything else. I liked the new Aveeno too, but not as much as this.

I think you would get that one if you had a scanner available, wish I could send you some. I am going in every day to get 2 packages of nuts this week because the cashiers get some kind of prize for selling the most.

I like being in the test market too, I get 4 extra days to stare at that ad. I have a brand new store that is maybe 1-1/2 miles from me and I've been there almost every day since it opened. The place was packed through the grand opening, but now I'm the only one in the store every time I go. Tonight they got robbed right as I was walking in! My youngest (the real LanaJae) said, "don't you think we better leave mom?" and I told her no, I had to shop.

For ShiPooOwner - you should have seen how shook up they all were, I'm sure it was the last thing they were expecting at that store!

Alot of my ECBs are beeping lately. And I make sure they are for the correct card. Sometimes they push them thru and sometimes I have to ask for the manager. It really is a pain in the patootie.

I NEVER get email coupons and my stores don't have scanners either. I just print them from Iheartcvsdotcom. She always posts them on there. My sister checked and the ones that she gets emailed are the same codes. They always beep, but they always push them through for me. There are $3 off $15, $4 off $20 and $5 off $30 on there right now good thru sunday.
