Cvs 7/11-7/18 weekly deals

:goodvibes:goodvibes Finally some body wash for women!
I bought 6 suave body washes, 6/$10, used 2 of the b2g1 free coupons... -1.67 x 2, bought a john freida shampoo and conditioner, 2/$10 used 2 of the $2.50 coupons that printed, did the papermate pens deal and the scissors....bought 3 of the milky way bars...they were b2g1 free and used the $ .50 that printed from machine...had a $4/$20 and $8 in ecbs. paid $2,80 OOP and got back $9.98 in ECBs...

I went today and only got the pens and the scissors and the dial soap BOGOF. I will go back later and get the John Frieda shampoo. But I wanted to wait until I had the ECB from this first transaction.

My dial soap scanned $3.39 on the red coupon/price scanner. I asked the cleark about it because the ad says $2.79. He wasn't sure but said he would price adjust it. However, when he rang it at the register, it rang $3.39 then -.60. (Then the second rang up .00). I don't think I have ever had it scan incorrectly on the red scanner but correctly at the register before??

I've had to take a few weeks' hiatus...but hopefully I can get back into the swing of things this week. My question is - I have a few ECBs that are now just recently expired, do you all usually have luck still using those? Or should I call the 1-800 number and see what they say? TIA!

It will probably depend on your cashier. I would definitely try using them because most cashiers give you at least a week or two and often longer beyond their expiration date. :thumbsup2

My favorite CVS (near me thankfully) will accept any expired ECB's or CVS coupons no matter what the date. Other CVS's near me will only take them for like 2 weeks afterwards. It seems to depend on the store and each one is different. Check around and see-Im sure one will take them:thumbsup2

Thanks for the replies!! I'm going to give them a shot, I'd love it if I didn't miss out on them! I'll be sure to report back.

Look carefully at what Loreal products are included in the special. I went in today and it was hit and miss on what products were included. There were two conditioners that were almost identical, but were used for different types of hair (one for dry hair and the other for colored treated hair) One was counted in the special and the other was not! The clerk said it is really weird this week and they have had several complaints already and they are only on day two! Make sure the $5 ecb sign is directly below the product.

My CVS had $2 off TPs for the Tylenol Precise on a special cardboard display in the front of the store.

Went last night and the cashier said the limit has been raised to four. :thumbsup2 The tearpad was almost depleted though so hope they're not all gone when you get there if you're interested.

The Neutrogena Clinical day/night/eye was out of stock and she said they had only gotten about four items in on the truck but more MIGHT arrive this morning. They are so great at that store that they volunteered to take names and phone numbers so they could call each of us this morning if more Neutrogena comes in the shipment when their truck arrives. Too bad that rebate ends on 7/18.

If you buy the Neutrogena Clinical at walmart.com for $35.97, you get a $15 e-giftcard to use on a future purchase. Shipping is $0.97, so it ends up being a $14 MM!!

Apparently some people's receipt shows the Neutrogena for $20.97, and then basically shows them being charged $15 for the GC (not what is advertised). So then you'd only get $20.97 back. But Neutrogena will accept the order confirmation page or the receipt, and the order confirmation shows it correct at $35.97. I'm going to try it and see what my receipt shows.

*Found this on Couponing to Disney, so if you want to read all of the comments, head there*

ETA: They're out of stock  so hopefully they'll restock by the end of the week!

This is a general CVS question...will they let you use two coupons on items that are buy one get one free or on a pre-packaged 2 pack?? IE, I have colgate coupons and there is a prepackaged 2 pack of colgate that you get ECB back. Can I use the two coupons or will they only let me use one?

Obviously I would ask the cashier, but it would save me a trip if I knew ahead of time!!!

Very good night tonight at CVS and I didn't even use or earn any ECB :scared1::rotfl2:

I went in to get DH's prescriptions and while there I bought:

2 Natures Bounty Vitamin D
1 half gallon Edy's Ice Cream (We're having a last minute sleep over so a last minute surprise for the kiddos)
2 20 oz Diet Coke
1 Trident Layers
3 3Musketeers Truffle Crisp
2 Sobe Lifewater
1 CVS Nasal Spray
1 Bic Soleil Refill Blades

So I discovered that the following deals will work:

2 Nature's Bounty $5 rewards coupons with the b1G1 so $5 MM  :woohoo:
3 of the .50 CRTs with the B2G1 candy sale. Total cost for 3 Truffle Crisp 28 cents. Not as good as last week's price but considering they sold out last week it's still a big old :yay: (They're still giving this coupon out this week :thumbsup2)
They're giving out CRTs for a free pk of Trident Layers.:cool1:
The Sobe Lifewater B1G1 coupons are a MM this week as the cashier put them thru as $1.69 :woohoo:
The $3 Bic Soleil Disposables coupons work on the refills without any beeps. :thumbsup2
The $1 off two Diet Coke Peelie coupon works with the B9G1Free Diet Coke Reward Coupon :goodvibes

So my total OOP was $7.28 and considering I didn't have any coupons for the Edy's or Nasal Spray (ETA cost for these two items would have been $11) and didn't use any ECB I thought that was pretty good. :cool1:

This week has been so crazy that I haven't made it to CVS. And it sounds like others are having a good week! Maybe next week will be better for me and I'll get back into the swing of things.

Thanks for the info on the sanitiazing pen!! I also just got a 4/20 coupon emailed to me! Can't wait to head over now!:thumbsup2
