iheartcvs has a preview of the 3 day Thanksgiving sale Not as many freebies as last year, but it is just a preview, so hopefully once the whole ad is released there will be more. Even so, still lots of deals

A little OT but I knew this would be the place to ask.

I have read on here before how some people have had trouble downloading a coupon printer. My sister tried to download it and she does, then when she tries to print it says again she needs to download it. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Since we don't have a Rite Aid thread and Rite Aid deals sometimes show up on the CVS thread . . .

Herbal Essences products are BOGOF at Rite Aid this week. The last P&G Brandsaver insert had a buy a shampoo or conditioner, get a styling product free coupon in it. Use the coupon and you get two free bottles. I didn't notice it said styler and used my first one for two bottles of shampoo -- went through fine.

I did this deal too!! Hairspray is very popular at my house with 2 teenage grandaughters !! So getting 2 Free was great!!

Please forgive me here. I just got back from vacation and my brain is not working yet. How does the movie become free? You still are paying for the batteries minus whatever coupons you have, correct? I am missing something?

I'm a little confused right now. I went to CVS and got my $20 worth of Duracell batteries today and the UP coupon is on the tape. So even if the CRT says limit reached on the Duracell batteries, it will reset tomorrow and I can do the Duracell deal again? Do I buy the second round of batteries in a separate transaction from the purchase of the DVD so that I can use both $10 coupons on the DVD purchase?

You do the battery deal twice, once before Tuesday (too late) and once after Tuesday - no coupon is given after Tuesday, the movie has to be purchased with the items in the deal.

You use the $10 coupon on the second battery transaction and another $10 comes off automatically, making the movie free. Yes, you're still paying for the batteries after mfg. coupons and $/$$ coupons, but the movie becomes free.

I bought this last night:

$20 Two batteries AA 16-packs
-1.50 two mfg. coupons from P&G insert
-5/20 short-lived sunset coupon
(received $10 coupon)

I bought this today:

$20 Two batteries AA 16-packs
-1.50 two mfg. coupons from P&G insert
-5/20 short-lived sunset coupon
19.99 UP movie
-10.00 automatically taken off
-10.00 coupon from 1st transaction
(free movie)

I essentially paid $26.99 for four 16-packs of AA batteries and an UP movie. Of course I used extra bucks that I had, but that is a deal by itself.

It's usually virus software that prevents the program from running, so it thinks that it's not installed. Coupon printers are a form of spyware so settings often need to be changed in order to run them or sometimes it works to shut off your virus protection and then download the coupon printer.

I am behind in reading but if you are talking about the SC Johnson rebate, I did the $5 one three times with Glade products from Target and I've received email confirmations on all 3, so use whatever you have, it all counts.

I did print two but they have the same barcode. I could always use the $4/20 voucher from the holiday gift catalog.

So glad you didn't go back yet, the movie deals are always confusing.

All those sunset coupons beep now, even if they have the same bar code numbers, I think they took them out of the system, so just use it and they'll probably push it through.

Yes, all movie deals work like that - some are better than others, especially when they use P&G items on sale as the lure. It was very hard to actually buy batteries as CVS paid me to take gobs of them 2 years ago, but I've found they make great gifts for elderly relatives who are impossible to buy for - batteries and stamps can be exciting LOL!

I bawled for 20 minutes into the movie and as soon as I recovered, it happened again - such a great movie, I'm so glad I got it!

I got a CRT for $5 off a greeting card purchase the other day. I decided to place my order online and pick up in the store. I don't send a lot of Christmas cards out so I placed an order for 20 cards (probably just right) to pick up in the store. Combined with my $5 off greeting card purchase plus using my $10 ECB's, this will come out free and I'll get $5 ECB back. I wish it were more but I can't complain about free photo Christmas cards. Plus when I signed up with CVS photo online they gave me 50 free 4x7 prints. Ordered those too at the same time.

I peeked at next weeks sales I might be able to do alright with my coupons and just my $5 ECB's.
