CVG Hotel suggestions

I'm flying out of CVG Saturday morning (9am). Since they're now talking about possible snow Friday night/Saturday morning, I'm debating getting a hotel near the airport (I have about a 100 minute drive from home) for Friday night. It looks like there's a Doubletree on the airport grounds, but doesn't look like direct access to the airport (I'd need to move my car to airport parking).

There's a Comfort Suites that offers park, stay and fly, but I don't know about wanting to go to a hotel to get my car when I get back at 5:30a next Friday.

Other thoughts?

Welcome to the “freaking out, because we’re flying out of CVG this Saturday” club.

The Doubletree isn’t like other airport hotels. It’s not connected; you’ll have to go out into the elements to get to the airport. However, driving from the hotel to covered parking is no more than a few hundred feet.

Something to think about. There are direct shuttles from the airport to and from the Doubletree. Park in long-term parking (or one of the several lots near the airport), catch their shuttle to the airport and finally catch a shuttle to the Doubletree. Next Friday at 5:30 AM, just take the shuttle back to your car.

Good luck. My plane takes off about seven hours after yours. Hopefully, the snow will be gone.
