Cuttlekids dies

Does anyone know where I can find dies for the cuttlekids cutter? Its a long story, starting with the enabler alert for BL. I bought a bunch of embossing folders, some came with dies. The cuttlekid was on clearance at Walmart and I thought I could use the dies in there. I can't. But my 3 yr old is obsessed with making circles and bug faces. She is so proud of herself making her shapes.

I've found dies online for $10 apiece! Considering I only paid $15 for the machine and neither M or Walmart sells them anymore, I don't want to pay that much for the dies.

My local Joann's has had them on clearance for the past few months. I don't remember seeing any more sets there recently, but they were .97 (for the set of four dies) the last time I saw any.

Amazon has some of the Cuttlekids sets for about $6 and they are part of their "buy three, get one free" deal.

M's and Joann's had some on clearance several months ago. I am not sure if there are any left though. Overstock.com has the alphabets sets for a decent price, but not a super great deal.

Do the 2x2 dies work in the Cuttlekids machine?

There seem to be mixed reviews for this company, with some people having trouble getting their orders, but it seems to be on more popular items that sell quickly. I did place an order in May (12 items). They shipped everything but two items, but they haven't given me any update as to when I will get the last two. The two left cost less than $3 total, so I'm not worried, but I thought I would warn you!!! Order took about 2 weeks from ordering to arriving.

I also ordered from oh my crafts for cuttlebug embossing folders on clearance. I received most of my order, but I'm still waiting on the Mickey and Goofy best pals. They told me it was backordered when the rest of my order shipped several weeks ago and that's the last I've heard from them.

Thanks for the tips on the cuttlekids dies. And no, the cuttlebug dies won't fit. They are thicker. The cuttlekids dies are super thin, with a cardboard backing instead of metal on the cuttlebug. The cuttlekid is so simple though.

I have some I was going to get rid of. I am not sure if we got a defective machine or what. Ours is so hard to turn especially for my little ones. So I figured I have my Cricut we dont need it. I think I have all of the ones they have mase. 2 alphabets, cars, flowers, pirates. numbers. PM me if your interested. I will try link a photo, sorry I'm new to this board if it doesn't work.
