How does everyone store their Cuttlebug dies? I'm looking for ideas because mine are a mess. Also they're hard to store because they have different sizes.

I love the clear Sizzix die storage cases for the small Sidekick dies. Do they have anything like that for the Cuttlebug dies?

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I have the dies in a plastic "shoebox" in a draw. I bought the binder inserts to put my embossing folders in because i use them more than the dies. They come in different sizes to fit the different size dies and embossing folders

I don't have the binder I have metal rings to make my own binder
Hope that helps

Maybe I'll have to run to Joann's to check that out. My boys have been home sick for 4 days so I'd be happy to get out of the house for a root canal at this point :rotfl:

In case they don't have them, because I haven't noticed them before, what size are the pages? If it's expensive I will probably just buy the pages and do the ring binder thing too. I do that with my Quickutz die holders.

I bought this at Harbor Freight after I got my Bug. This comes with padded dividers that you can place wherever you need them to go. My dies and embossing folders fit in there PERFECTLY, and I have room for many other things.

The inside of the lid has slots that I keep scissors xacto knives, pens, and other tools in, and there is also storage inside the lid where I keep cardstock.

I tell ya...it's like Harbor Freight made these especially for Cuttlebug owners.

I'd tell you how many I have, but you would think I needed an intervention. Let's just say that I knit, I crochet, I scrapbook, I do polymer clay, I have a Cuttlebug, a Zutter Bind it All, I do jewelry, I embroider, I do cross stitch, I needlepoint, I paint, I do wookworking................those cases work for just about everything.

Make that wooDworking.

morgansmom2000...It is REALLY handy to have a separate case for different things. I label mine, and it's just "grab and go."

I wasn't even looking for something to put my "bug stuff" in. My DH drug me to Harbor Freight, and I was just wandering around when I spotted it. Trust me...you will LOVE it for your dies and folders.

I so need a * few* of those!
They have a harbour freight right near me.

Yes. It's right down the street from mikes in no attleboro.

Thank you for the ideas and links.

They had already cleared out the storage binder and pages at my Joann's. I found them at another local scrapbook store, but they were $10 per page! With as many as I have that would be pretty pricey.

I will check out the Freight Harbor Tools by me. I did find something else I am going to try though. I bought 12 x 12 photo sleeves that fit into the Crop In Style PSB that I already have. They are the perfect size for the largest dies or embossing folders, but the smaller ones tend to slide out. I don't know that it is the best solution, but for me it means not having one more storage box or bin to find a place for.

Here is a link to the photo sleeves that I bought: http://store.scrapbook.com/wr-50041-4.html

morgansmom2000....to answer your question about the number of dies. I actually counted mine for you.

In my case, I have 8 large embossing folders, 30 small embossing folders, 40 small dies, 8 medium sized dies, and 14 large dies. Plus, I also keep my plates in there as well.

Wow, that really holds alot! I'm going to have to get over to Frieght Harbor Tools soon to check it out.

Thanks for counting them out for me.

(I'm either really tired or losing it - Does anyone else hear the Count? One cuttlebug folder, 2 cuttlebug folders, muwahahahahahaha!"

No problem...

There is a bigger case at Harbor Freight...same style...just in case you need to store more items than this one will hold. There is also a smaller one, but it doesn't have all the nifty dividers.

I got a Cricut for my birthday this past Saturday, and I think one of these will be great for storing carts and such.

I have been envisioning an influx of women invading Harbor Freight and snatching up these cases, and the men in the store looking around and wondering what the heck is going on.
