Cutting through EP EMH to MK for rope drop?

We will be staying at the Beach Club. Would it be faster to enter Epcot via the Int. Ent. during EMH, cut through and take the monorail to MK in time for rope drop rather than taking the bus? We do have hoppers.

If you are REALLY serious about rope drop at MK, then you need to take the bus, cause you need to be there by 8am to truly be at the rope.

If you go through Epcot and take the monorails, then you will barely be there before 9am.

Nope. If you get to the Intnl Gateway, right at 8, you will get to the front of Epcot by about 8:30. Then, up the monorail platform and wait for the next monorail...could be 15 mins. Then, the 10 min ride to MK, then transfer to the express line..could take up to 15 mins.
If you want to get to MK for rope drop, from BC, get on a MK bus by 8am. That should get you there in plenty of time, without all that walking.
