Was wanting to know if you have to cut around the whole transfer before you iron it on the t-shirt. It seems hard to cut our every little detail. I have a blue shirt and I bought the dark iron on transfer, If I dont cut all around it will white show up on some parts I dont cut out?

Thanks for your help

Michele

Yes, the white will show if you're using dark transfer paper. If you use the light transfer paper, the white shows up clear. I'm doing the same thing right now!!:)

I used dark transfers and cut mine out. Take a look! I LOVE the way they turned out!

These look great. What do you mean you "cut mine out." Did you just trim around the edges or did you get very detailed?
TIA

I got very detailed. See that Minnie head over the R in Pratt. I cut around the outside edge of that minnie head and also around the inside edge. All that was left was the black line and red bow.

One thing I did cause I didn't want to cut that much... I changed the white part to the color of the shirt then just cut with a paper cutter then rounded the corners. I was off a few shades on a couple shirts but most of them you couldn't tell the difference between the shirt and the transfer.

These are just too good. You've inspired me to do two set of shirts all over again. I did mine without cutting every little detail out and they really look so sloppy in comparison. I know it'll be a lot more work, but I think trimming this much is the way to go.

Holy Cow! What did you use to cut them out? Just regular scissors? You've got some mad skillz! (That was my homage to DH and his cyber-speak!)
