Cutting it fine!

As we are in the swing off getting our bits together for our Christmas trip to the world,I remembered that i had forgotten 2 vital things......................My ds2 and dd7mths passports

I have had to rush about like a blue *** fly getting there forms field out,photo`s and birth certificates.
I am so lucky to have a teacher as a close friend of the family to counter sign

Sent them both off today £106,there goes some of my spending money,oh yea plus the £7.50 for a new full certificate for my ds2.

Think there passports will arrive b4 Dec 11th?

i found the passport turnaround was very fast even in the summer bet you will have them in plenty of time

I had mine back within a week at the start of the summer so I think you will be fine, can't imagine the stress of realising that, yikes!

I am so glad that i relised now and not another 2 weeks or so down the line,my DS2 is so looking foward to meeting Mickey that i don`t think i could have ever forgiven myself if i had totally forgotten.

I sent the cheek and send way so if it does happen to go past the 2 week turnaround i will be on here everyday checking up lol

Hi, I've just done the same, my daughters passport expired, we are due to fly on th 6 December and I only got round to sending her application off this week. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, I to used the post office check and send service which tries to turn the application around in 2 weeks, I just hope nothing goes wrong!!!

We used this service a couple of months ago and we got both of the passports back in 10 days!

Yes it was very quick, just make sure that you are in when the courier is coming to deliver it as they won't leave it with anyone except you and yu must have ID to show them to prove that you are who you say. I wanted ds's delivered to our shop and they wouldn't rearrange without full permission from the Passport office - better to be safe though!
