Cutterbee cutterpede is great!

I bought the new cutterbee cutterpede last week and I love it! It is the 12 x 12 size and it cuts all my paper so straight! So, so, so much better than my old fiskers one which always cut crooked and drove me crazy. $25 and worth every cent for those of you looking for a new cutter.

Pammy Jo-I saw this in a magazine the other day. I wonder if Micheals craft store will get them in? Where did you buy yours?

I'm glad to hear that as I saw it at the scrapbook store and it looked interesting. I also have problems with my fiskars not cutting straight. The ss owner said they would be getting in some new cutters from different companies and I want to check them out before I decide which to buy.

I have read complaints about this cutter on other boards concerning the extra amount of pressure necessary to cut through the cardstock as compared to the Fiskars and that is better to stand to do your cutting, have you found this to be the case?

I cut through my cardstock with no problem. You definately have to push down, but nothing extremely hard. I certainly didn't need to stand at all.

I saw this in the latest CK magazine also and was wondering about it. I'm glad to hear others have problems with their Fiskars not cutting straight - I thought it was something I was doing wrong. And it also is not cutting through my stuff very well. I haven't had it that long and haven't used it that much and I already need to change the blade.
