OhMari said:Cathy, you have to tell him this annoys you. Me and my kids all ganged up on my husband who used to make a sound in the vehicle like a screeech, hissing noise like an accident was about to happen-for every little thing. We all ganged up on him and told him to stop it. It was pure annoying. Nor funny anymore. He did stop, but it still slips out every once in awhile. Thank goodness, after a 20 miles road trip and 100 hissing noises, we were all ready to kill him.
Now that I have my new van I drive more that I did my other van. The other day I was driving and was approaching a left turn lane. My DH let out one of those "and accident is about to happen, so I braked thinking that the car ahead of me (in the lane going straight) was about to cut in front of me and was going to cause an accident. Turns out, he was reacting to the other driver, but not in that way. That other driver had thrown both his hands in the air, frustrated with the car in front of him. So my DH was worried that he was going to hit that other car, hence his reaction. The thing is, we were all coming up to a red light and none of us were going too fast, so even if those two cars had of collided it wouldn't have been a bad accident, but my DH reacting like that easily could have caused me to get in an accident.
But he insisted that it really wasn't a big deal and that I was making too much out of it. He would have been furious if I had of done that to him...
