Cute things kids say

My daughter just reminded me of this one.

One day, we were just sitting around watching some home movies and came across one of my daughter's first birthday. My kids are 13 months apart, with my son being older, so he was 2 in the videos. As we're watching them, there is this kid in the films that just keeps taking my daughter's birthday presents, even going so far as to open some for her. Of course she could have cared less. She was content just playing with the boxes. Her birthday is also the day after Christmas, so she'd had enough of opening all that crap the day before (don't I wish it was still that simple).

Anyway, as we're watching this, my son is really getting aggravated at that kid that keeps taking her presents. Finally, he looks over at me and says, I can't believe you just let that kid do that to Jen's presents. I do NOT like that kid at all.

I just sat back laughing my butt off as I looked over at my son and said, then I probably shouldn't tell you that the mean nasty kid is YOU!

It was a completely priceless moment!!

 

[It's A Happy Day]

Black Friday we were in Target - Me (mommy 33) - DS5 & DD4. As we are passing the womens clothing section my DS5 blurts out "Mom, do you need anymore BIG Boo* BRAS?!?!"

I'm telling my DH later that night DS overheard me and added "well how 'bout some BIG BUTT underwear" Um, Gee thanks buddy but no not right now. LOL kids really do say the darnest things!

We were in WDW earlier this month, at the baby center in MGM. I was with my oldest daughter, Sarah, who needed to nurse her baby (Camdyn). I had my other 2 granddaughters with me, Chloe (7 months) and Ireland (just a week before she turned 2). Sarah had Camdyn on a little ledge, changing her diaper. I was sitting on the floor with Chloe and Ireland was standing next to the rocking chair. It was a wooden rocker with a chair pad on it. She lifted the chair pad, then put it back down again. Then she looked at me, lifted the chair pad up again, and started moving her fingers on the rocker seat, and said, "Nana, I'm checking my email." It was too funny. It's amazing what kids pick up.
