I went in to Christmas Tree Shop today to see what they had new and saw some really cute lanyards.
They are about 24 inches around so they are great size for kids, they would probably dangle down mid chest. They have a small piece of lanyard fabric on the bottom that can be removed that would hold keys or maybe a lanyard medal. These two parts, the lanyard and the bottom piece, clip together with a clip similar to those found on baby strollers or bouncer seats. Really easy to unclip. here is a piece of velcro at the top of the lanyard near the neck in case the lanyard gets stuck on something so it will rip apart without choking the person wearing it.
They have some with names on them, some with designs like sports balls, skeletons, stars, stars and stripes etc... The only one I didn't like was the one with skulls on it and the name Jesus spelled out in bone font.

t have a Christmas Tree Shop nearby let me know and I will try and get to Christmas Tree Shop and pick it up for you. They are $0.89 plus 6% tax. If you are looking for a lanyard for your child or grandchild I bet they would love one with their name on it. Peggie
