Cute Halloween Idea with Cuttlebug

Those are very cute.
I can't wait to see what you make with the idea.

Those are too cute! Thanks for sharing the idea.

Those are adorable...I might try these for the teachers at school!

Too cute! Thanks for the link. We are carving our pumpkins today and then moving on to other crafts. I think I'll add this to the list!

Great blog! Some of the cards on there are so clever!!

Thanks for sharing!

I tried it. It was very easy. THe directions are perfect. DD8 was a big help -- it was usseful to have an extra set of hands when putting it together. It is super cute. Took about 15 minutes from start to finish including clean up.

OOOooo, thanks for the update! Maybe DD and I can make some tomorrow.

I decided to make them as name cards for thanksgiving. After embossing 9 x 20 strips my elbow is throbbing!

I think I am going to do the same thing for DD (8) class on Friday too!

I made one. :woohoo:
Took a little bit longer than the 15 minutes. My leaves are pathetic.:sad2:
I may cheat and let my cricut make the leaves. ;)
The six inch pumpkins don't hold much. So I just may make a few more for the 5th grade teachers and the staff in the office at school. For some reason I don't think the first graders are going to be impressed with apple looking pumpkins. :rotfl2: That is what my Little Bit thought is was, an orange apple. The 5th graders don't get a party this year, so I don't have to make anything for the students.

Thanks Rebecca for the link. :thumbsup2

I've got 12 made and 12 more to go for DS8's class.. He loves them!!! I'm using cuttlebug leaves (the package of 4)... DD is cutting and crimping them for me...and DS8 is counting the orange strands before we crimp them... I'm using 10 strands not 9... they look so cute.. inside we are putting candy for their "goodie" bags!!! They are holding up great!!! I'm loving it!!!

Thanks for the idea Rebecca!!!

Whew! I'm finished.. I'll take a photo and post it later!! I think they are pretty cute.. DD and I are going to try to make ornaments out of them for our extra tree....

Here are some that I made. One is already gone to the teacher. Little Bit couldn't wait.

And yes, that is one inside the larger one. Did you know they can hold the Star Wars figures and that they make great escape pods inside escape pods?
:sad2: Only my boys.

I think I need to add the crimping tool thingy to my Christmas list.

I love your pumpkins.

They are cool..but the one I got is the smaller one.. maybe fits 4 inches wide... you can sometimes find them @ the dollar tree.. I'll check next time I'm out... ;)

those are super cute!!! Makes me wish i had more time....

Might be a good craft for our Halloween party. I've been looking for something. 8 year olds are getting hard to please. :confused3
