:flower1: What type of cut flowers do you decorate with in your house? Do you usually get them from your flower garden, from the store, or florist? This year my gladdiolas, cosmos, and dahallias did good so I used those to put inside of the house. And we have anthiriums here all year long. :flower:

I have always thought of planting a cutting garden, but that is all the further it has gotten is my thoughts. I always cut and I force the forsythia early. The daffodils look so beautiful all over the house in the spring. I love astramerium. I usually buy them at the grocery store. I also have African violets and several continuous flowering begonias. Those continuos flowering begonias are wonderful. They bloom profusely all year long. The double blooms are about 2 inches across. They are not fussy one bit. They take quite a bit of neglect. You can put them on a coffee table, an end table or a book shelf. Just as long as they get some light from a window they are happy.

I cut gladiolas, dahlias and roses from my garden. Occassionally I will get a humongous bouquet from the Farmers Market in Seattle.

I just refilled the gigantic hole in the back garden that my boys and their friends dug all summer. I am planning on turning that into a cut flower garden next spring.
