customizing magic bands

Hi-For those of you who have customized their magic bands before your trip-
Besides picking the color were you able to pick the character on the band or are they all just the Mickey logo? I thought I heard you could pick the character for the band when you ordered them, but when I went on MDE to customize ours it just gave us the option of color & what we wanted printed on them. I know we could "bling them out" the kids just thought we would be able to put a character on them before we left. Thanks!

Meant to say - I know we could decorate them with accessories once we get to the parks.

You can only pick color.

The Mickey Head on the Band is supposed to correlate with the (not sure of the exact terms) mickey head on the pole or touch pad.

The character you can pick for yourself is your character that only shows up on the MDE.

You can only pick the color. You can buy accessories at the park but there are threads about how people customized theirs with different color nail polishes. There are some very creative ideas/pictures.
