customized park maps

just wondering if anyone knows how to get customized park maps. We saw
a family with them on our last trip, and haven't been able to locate any online.

I'm pretty sure you can create them on the disney website.

We did this a couple of weeks ago. It is on the WDW official website. Click on "My Disney Vacation" and there will be a place to go to customize your maps. It was a lot of fun and the best part is its free! We got ours in the mail in about 10 days. Good Luck!

Yes, you go to the disney website and they are there in the travel section. I always build my customized maps AFTER we return from the trip so that I can mark the attractions that we visited during the trip. Just remember that you can only order one free set every 6 months.

We love the personalized maps They make for a great keepsake. Personally speaking we don't take them to the park as they are huge. My cousin ordered theirs and took it to kinkos (I believe) to have them copied and downsized but they are copywrited! I don't know why Disney would copywrite something that has your family name on it?

We are framing ours too! We are framing the large WDW resort map w/ our snapspots from the 4 different parks around it. I can not wait to see it finished!

I orderd some earlier in the year and the studios was still listed as MGM; has anyone received new maps with Hollywood Studios on it?

I love the scroll case type thing the mail them out in. We got our a couple weeks ago and it put my two DD into fits of anticipation.

Like another poster, we didn't bring ours into the parks. We brought them with us on the trip and looked them over in the hotel when we were planning out our days, but we left them in the room.

The kids had a lot of fun going online before our trip and they each got to pick out their top three attractions that they wanted to see in each park and those are the ones we selected for the maps. It was a really fun part of our planning.

I'm from Canada so I can't get customized maps delivered to my house, or else I would.

I would love to have them as souvenirs!

We got ours a couple years ago.....waiting to move to the new house and frame them. We ordered 2 sets, so we can get all 4 parks up on the wall
They are very nice!!

Good question about DHS. We ordered some for our November trip, but haven't opened them yet. We'll give them to the kids on the drive down & have them pick out the places they want to visit. DS has the maps from our previous trip in his room & pulls them out every once in awhile to help remember all the fun we had. Such a great souvenirs!
