Customized maps received!

We got our customized maps yesterday! They are really beautiful! Now I can't wait to actually see these places first hand and actually start deciding which will be our TRUE favorite attractions! If you guys haven't ordered these you definitely should! Oh! & they arrived very quickly- I only ordered them about a week ago!

What are the maps of? Where did you get them?

They are maps of the 4 WDW Parks. On the Disney website you can order custom maps, which are on nice paper with your favorite locations mapped out, and the family name on top.

They are very nice (and free). You can order a new set once every 6 months or something like that. We just got ours yesterday too even tho I think it says to allow about 4 weeks and I just ordered them like a week ago. We have a surprise trip booked in May for DS's birthday so I ordered a set to give to give to him ON his birthday! (His birthday is during the week before Memorial Day so we're going over Memorial Day weekend.) It's nice that they're personalized with our family name and everything. I was hoping they'd have our trip dates on them too but they don't. So the family name will have to do. At least we have something cool to give him.

I was really surprised they came so fast- This is our first time going, ordering the maps, etc I am soooo impressed and as my DH & I checked them out I said "How can anyone NOT love Disney!?? They really make you feel special."

The paper the maps are on is very thick, heavy, beautifully decorated & has all the "hotspots" we chose as our favs for now they are also huge sized! They also sent a small sheet of additional Stickers to add any other favs we may have missed- (in our case, don't know about yet...)-
I will definitely be ordering our next set for next year because I didn't realize that the two park maps would be back to back on the sheets- I will order next year and then take each map and frame it nicely to hang in our upstairs hallway or foyer if they will all fit... I was thinking to get Mickey to autograph each map and then frame and now I can't decide if I want any autograph on it or not- I am leaning to a YES there though- "The mouse himself autographed our maps!" WoooHoooo!

We just received ours too, and they are lovely. They come in a neat envelope that reminded me of "National Treasure". DD is so fascinated with the maps I'm not sure they will make to WDW in one piece. They really helped me understand the layout of the parks and the best way to get from Point A to Point B, especially in parks we have not been to before like AK.

I definitely recommend ordering these for your next trip!
