Could someone provide the "customary tips" for the following services, I don't mind tipping extra but would like to know what is "expected", then I can add or deduct based on their service.

We will be staying at the AKV in late January for 8 nights, we will be using ME.

Bags delivered by Bell Services (ME). If not in the room should I leave it on the counter with a note?
Having item brought to the room, such as bed rails:
Full Cleaning: again show do they know a tip is for them, do you leave a note?
T&T
Room Service - Does AKV have room service? Maybe pizza?
Help with bags to airport check-in in the lobby.

Thanks!
Todd

The tip is built in, no need to tip extra.

Having item brought to the room, such as bed rails:

I'd give $2 per item (or group of items such as additional hangers)

Full Cleaning: again show do they know a tip is for them, do you leave a note?

I leave $10-20 for full cleaning, depending on the size of the room.

$5-10 again depending on the room size. I leave a note with the money on the bathroom vanity.

Room Service - Does AKV have room service? Maybe pizza?

15% of the total check, and they have full room service.

Help with bags to airport check-in in the lobby.

$2-3 per bag, depending on the size/weight. (For really heavy/bulky bags I'd go up to $5.)

Have a great trip!

There is no need to leave an extra tip for room service. There is a service charge per peson plus an 18% gratuity is automatically added to the bill.

We never order room service so I can't speak to that but as far as the bags - for the most part we always tip $1 per bag to anyone who handles them basically. I'd say it's hard to tip ME when the bags are delivered since we're never there and we don't leave one in the room for them. I don't know why we've never done that - we just haven't. In a hurry to get to the parks I guess. We tip the skycaps at the airport and any porters we may have used or van / shuttle drivers. When we leave & we call bell services we tip them when they take the bags. If we store them for a few hours we tip bell services again when we retrieve them. We tip the bus driver who takes them off the bus - we spend a small fortune on bag tipping (I usually overpack so we have at LEAST one bag pp!)! And that's why we say $1 / bag. If all they do is pick it up & move it 10' that's plenty IMO.

Room service for T & T - we leave $1 per person lying on the bed. It's not a hard clean for a studio. They figure it out. I have also left it on the bathroom counter before too. Again, they know it's for them.

Disney considers housekeeping to be a non tipped position. The articles I've seen in the past suggest that hotels are about 50/50 nationwide in the US as to whether they pay their staff as tipped or non tipped. I don't tip for routine service, only if they do something extra. I'd say $1-2 per bag depending on specifics, number, weight. Bags are customarily tipped at the destination, the room on arrival and the car on departure. Same for Valet. I don't tip for items delivered that should have been there but do for additional items, replacements, etc.
