Custom wedding photography question

Have just started looking at doing a small custom wedding rather than an intimate (we have 20 people in total).

One of the big differences in prices seems to be on the photograpy/videography. This might be a daft question, but on the custom wedding photography 8 hour package - is this 8 hours concurrently or can it be broken?

We were thinking of a morning ceremony, a lunch reception and then a break before an evening dessert party.

I know at one point my SM told me the photography could be broken up, not sure about video, so I would just ask them.

Your 8 hours of photography does not have to be concurrent. You can borrow "against" your wedding time for a rehearsal or "getting ready" shots.
