We are celebrating our DD's 3rd birthday in Disney in a couple weeks and I wanted to get her a small custom cake. When I called I was told I had to get a huge cake that fed a large amount of people. Is this true? I just saw pics that someone custom ordered a small cake for one person. Is that an option? We would like to have it at The Crystal Palace during lunch on her actual birthday.

Can you give me suggestions, pics, cost? Who should I call?

We ordered a Malificent cake (indexed in Tricia's post) for my daughter's 12th birthday last year at 1900 Park Fare and we couldn't have been more pleased.

This year it is my Dad's 60th birthday and I will try to get a Grumpy cake sent to CRT. If that doesn't pan out we are eating at Chef Mickey's one night so I could have it delivered there.

Ugh....now I am thinking of ordering a custom cake at the Boardwalk Bakery and picked it up and bringing it back to our room on my own. My DD only asked for three things for her birthday....cake, balloons and presents. I have to deliver all three! LOL

We did the little princess cake and my DD who was then 9 loved it.

The cake came in a little pink plastic treasure chest with a flag and childproof "mirror." The cake was not delicious but she could have cared less. Think Sara Lee pound cake with frosting and sprinkles. But we ate at Crystal Palace where the table was decorated with confetti and streamers. They brought out a card for her signed by all the Pooh characters and sang Happy Birthday. She ate it up.

I think a little girl might love this too. Just a thought. :)
