Has anyone been able to get the customized maps sent to a Canadian address??

No. They only ship to the US. You can print them yourself though.

I'm really sad because people are posting how wonderful they are. I wish they shipped to Canada.
I printed mine out, but it's not the same...

I'm leaving for Disney on Feb 27th and I think I will try to get the customized maps sent to the resort. We are staying at POP for a week, so that should be enough time for them to arrive somewhere prior or during our trip.

They looked like a really nice keepsake and I too was disappointed when I was unable to get them.

I tried doing the Custom Map last night, but I think it takes the registered address as the "ship to" address, so it didn't give me the option for US delivery

What I was thinking of doing is re-registering with a second ID on disneyworld.com and giving the resort address as my address

(Hey, doesn't everyone want to live at Disney? But I wonder what Disney would think about getting my "Junk" mail )


It's too bad as the Maps look lovely

If anyone fom Canada has managed to get the maps, let us know, we all want them too!

We actually ordered the maps and had them delivered to POP during our stay last May. We figured we'd try it - as we had nothing to lose if we didn't get them, and luckily it worked and we got our maps our third day there. Unless their policy has changed, you can do it. Unfortunately you need to time things just right for them to arrive while you are there.

We just changed the address in our profile to POP's address (or whatever resort you are staying at) and then ordered the maps. We then went back into our profile and changed the address back to our home address

Not sure if this will help but I just looked back at our old post on this and we ordered them exactly 33 days before leaving for our trip last May.

Just tried to change my profile address to Pop and it wouldn't accept it, it just kept reverting back to my real address

Also, the Custom Map kept coming up saying "system error" so I'm wondering if there is a problem with the website right now?

You may all consider having maps shipped to friends or family who live in the US. That's what I did...I have family in North Carolina and had them shipped there and then my famiy sent them to me. We got them a few days ago, and they are amazing! My sister and I are taking this trip by ourselves this time to celebrate her graduation and I think that the maps are a great way to kind of plan out what you want to do, as well as a nice keepsake....

you don't have to re-register. just go in, change your address, wait a couple of weeks then change it back.

that's what we did.

we had a set sent to dh's aunt's house and his mother brough it back up for us last month (she's a snow bird)

we had tried last year to have them sent to dh's cousin and he did receive them but they seemed to have gotten lost in the mail because we never got them when he said he sent them up to us (personally i think he forgot then lost them )

i haven't sent them to a resort but i remember reading someone else did and got them no problem.

in the address box when you put your address put something like

Name - It's Me

Address line 1 - Animal Kingdom Lodge Arriving April 15, 2008
Address line 2 - actual resort address
City - Lake Bona Vista (but that's not how you spell it)
