I have had problems with my clothes since Ben was born.. Nothing fits, even my shoes! I desparately need jeans. I'm sick of my maternity jeans falling down, and my pre-pregnancy jeans don't fit. Maybe a DISer or two have the same problem-- I have no hips (none!) a little butt, athletic (not skinny) thighs, and a LOT of excess skin in the belly. Ben was just shy of 10lbs so I have a LOT!

Can someone help? I'm desparate... I want to get out of my maternity pants!

My neighbor has the exact same body type as you. She went to The Buckle and they had her try on a bunch of different jeans. The jeans she found are SUPER stylish on her. They have flap pockets to give the illusion of a butt. :) I have a different body type than hers, but I plan on making a trip to The Buckle to find a stylish pair of jeans. I have never entered the store in the past, because it looked like a "teenage" store to me.

Good luck finding the perfect pair of jeans.

I am built similar to you, I think but I also am short 5''2" with short legs. I have found the best fitting jeans for me are straight leg(not skinny, my legs are too fat LOL) and are mid-rise. When I wear low rise jeans I have a little belly that sticks out over the top and they feel like they are falling down because I have nothing to hold them up. ALso, boot cut/flare legs jeans make my legs look rellay short and really fat.

THe jeans I am currently am wearing I bought at JCPenney 2 years ago and they stopped making them, so I am on the hunt with you.

My sister loves Lucky Brand Jeans but I can't bring myself to spend that much on a pair of pants.

Good luck!

I am essentially ***-less, as is everyone in my family. No real hips we are straight down, any extra weight we carry is in the belly or the breasts. Average height all between 5'6"-5'8" as a group we do the best with Ralph Lauren pants.

Liz Claiborne used to make a pair of jeans, that worked they were stretch denim. I haven't seen them in more than a year--and I guard them closely from invading family members.

Have you tried Gap long and lean? They ride higher and seem to have a bigger waist than the bootcut. My belly doesn't hang over the top and I love them. :lovestruc

I have the exact same body as you--no hips, no butt... and definitely still have a belly! I am struggling to find a pair of jeans that fit as well. Someone gave me a pair of Old Navy jeans that fit OK but I have no idea which style they are... I think most of my problem is that my hips/butt are a size 6 and my belly is a 10 or 12. Nothing fits right. If I buy a 10, it falls down because there's no hips or butt to hold them up. If I buy a smaller size, my belly hangs over.

I never thought to go into Buckle, I think there's one around here. I remember seeing one, now I just have to remember which mall. :lmao::lmao:

I just hope they don't laugh because some 30-year old lady is walking into their store ! lol

I'm 5'2'', 5'3" on a good day! lol Sounds like we have the same exact problem. I totally feel your pain on the discontinued jeans problem, everything I like or fits me well gets discontinued!

Haha.. yep. Same here too. Belly weight and big ol breasts. I used to have some Ralph Lauren jeans, I loved them. I'll try them again! Thanks for reminding me.

I don't know if every Goodwill is doing this but I just discovered something about them that has changed my shopping life.

I had not been in in awhile because I was too overwhelmed to dig through all the stuff, but now they have changed how they hang pants so you can walk down the aisle of jeans and see the brand and size. So, possibly if your goodwill does this and you know a discontinued brand that fits you could find it more easily.

I am really short and have a larger belly than hips/rear and am also liking long and lean from Gap but got them for $6 at Goodwill. Also, Goodwill is a great place to try out different brands.

NOt sure if this will help you, but my mom had no hips and always wore mens jeans. I got my build from my dad's side. Hips, curves, butt, breasts.

I found a Really nice pair of Dark Jeggings at Walmart for $12 they are real jean material but so soft have pockets in the back can wear with any kind of tops these work the best for me fit like a dream look great with boots, I do not like regular leggings but I think you might find the fit of jeggings to acomodate(sp) basically any body type just try to find the ones that look like real jeans:thumbsup2

I found a great pair of Dockers pants made out of demin they have a sure fit waist band. I got them at Kohls and they stayed up on my post baby belly!

I've got the same problem. Bigger in the belly...but no behind or hips. I'm straight down. I have trouble keeping pants up.

The one brand I keep going back to is Calvin Klein jeans. Yes a lil pricier...but coupons and sales at Macy's I do pretty good. If I find a pair that fit, I usually buy 2 if the price is right.

I too have the same problem as all of you! I am short, 5'1 and have found that Tommy Hillfiger jeans fit best. I get them at the outlet when they have sales. I still need to get them hemmed, because even their short jeans run too long, but it is worth it. I get stylish jeans and they fit all over!

Im in the same situation as you including post-baby (5 1/2 months). I went to Kohls and got some Apt 9 Bootcut jeans in a dark wash and I love them. :goodvibes Fit well and feel very nice I did have to go up a size (from pre- preganacy) and get them hemmed but it was well worth it since I got them on sale for $20.

Hope this helps.
