So budget peeps :)

Where is the best place to buy curtain rods for valances?

They can be any size, because they have a 3 in place for the rod. But I'd like them to look nice, and not sure what kind will look best?

Where is the best selection for the best price? I just want to run in, buy them, and put them up :)

TIA! :)

We bought ours at Bath Bed and Beyond. They have many styles.

We made ours with dowel rods from Home Depot and some metallic paint. It was easy a d cheap. The store even cut them to length for us. Other than that I would say bed bath and beyond has the biggest selection in our area

Walmart was going to be my first suggestion...I'd check back because they have about 100% turnover of their inventory every 2 or 3 weeks, so different styles could turn up.
Bed Bath and Beyond would be my second choice.
JCPenney my third.
Although Home Depot, Lowes and OSH should have them too.

If you have a Hobby Lobby near you, they usually have a nice selection. You can use the 40% off coupon that they have on their website about every other week.

If you have decent thrift stores try them. I am amazed at how cheap some of those household basics go for at a thrift store.

Another option is a consignment shop dedicated specifically to home goods.

Do you have a Tuesday Morning? I found 2 gorgeous rods with decorative finials and very nice long valances to drape over them. They were quite reasonable and nice quality. I love Tuesday Morning---it's my Achilles heel-- I collect linens and enjoy setting a pretty table and like different glassware. They have some great clearance sales, too. It's one of those stores that I can find a treasure every time I go.

YES!! We had a Tuesday Morning and I loved that store. Then they closed.

Do you have an Anna's Linens?

They always amaze me with how cheap their stuff is.

Check Joann Fabrics. Use a 40% off (found in Sundays paper) if they are regular price. A few weeks ago they had a 60% off sale.

Ross has the best selection at the best prices around here. I can get really nice decorative rods with pretty finials for large windows for app. $15. I haven't found anyplace else that can beat it, and there selection is great!

If you want the best selection all in one place w/o running from place to place I would say Lowes. They have a nice selection, decently priced. Places like Tuesday Morning, Home Goods, Hobby Lobby have a pretty limited selection in my area. Bed Bath and Beyond would be my second choice. Third would be JC Penney

I think I got rods from BB&B or Target and rings from Pottery Barn.
