Hi Everyone

We are going to DLP in 1 week and 4 days and im trying to decide what clothes to take obviously its not summer wear and i know its going to be cold but, How cold is it really???

I am at the moment taking snow suits/ski jackets and trousers and plenty of thinsulate layers for the children to wear along with fleecy hats/gloves and scarfs and snow boots i really dont want there trip to be ruined because they are cold and miserable so any heads up on the weather would be great please :)

Getting excited now :cheer2: :cheer2:

today's weather at DLRP : showers, 5 to 11° Celsius. Winds up to 30mph

forecasts for next saturday (17th) : heavy showers, 4 to 10° celsius.

It's too early to predict the weather for your stay, but be prepared for anything

It will most likely be very cold. And if snow decides to fall, it can be painful if you are not prepared. Ski outfits are a good idea if you have room to pack them.
And in case of snow, the most important thing is not to allow your feet to get wet. When snow melts inside the park, you'll be ankle deep in water and half melted snow. You need boots, otherwise you'll spend your day cursing the weather.

but, you might also get great weather. There's no way to tell.
Last year we got snow in large amounts, but the temperatures were very acceptable.

if you want forecasts, go to meteofrance website.

We went on the 28th November for 4 days. I packed everything! DS age 4, wore his snow suit every day. He wore thermals, trousers and top underneath, he didn't need a jumper. He used hat, scarf and hat quite a bit as well. Itook snow boots but he didn't need them.

We were there mid December last year and it was pretty cold. But with snow suit, thermals, snow boots for DS and big coat, thermals n boots for me, plus the usual hat, gloves scarf we had a great time.

I always feel better to pack more if you can than be freezing when you are there!

Have a great time.

Hi! weather here is very changeable at the moment but one thing I can tell you with absolute certainty is it will be cold so it is absolutely best to layer up. It gets Arctic.

The last week it has also been horribly damp, unusually we have had lots of rain and it has been super windy but even when not raining it's still damp! If you want to PM me a couple of days before you leave I'll tell you how it's going.

Ive just got back and it hasnt been as cold as the above posters saying it is but it rained every day and we had a few heavy showers aswell as light rain most days. Wednesday Mickeys Magical Show was cancelled and the dance express due to the heavy rain and it was windy too on Thursday. It was so wet weve all come home with colds and sore throats.

I'm not finding it cold either, compared to last year and the 2° it's well warm, but the damp is really annoying :sad2:

Hope you had a good time regardless and that everyone is well very soon :goodvibes

We are leaving in the morning woooohoooo !
We have packed snowsuits for the kids, snowboots etc... at least they keep you dry if its wet and cold ! praying for not tooo much rain xx:thumbsup2

Well it's forecast rain for next few days but wouldn't worry too much. Forecast rain for today and have yet to see any!

The plus side with the rain though... It is warmer when it's damp! It is Still cold though, guess if you live in the UK you're used to the cold it's def cold here at the mo compared to how it has been the locals have been moaning like mad this month!!! (yes it's def been colder though least there are no icicles on dumbo)

Wise choice on the snow suits better to have layers to remove... Have an amazing time whatever the weather!!!

Remember "there's no such thing as the wrong weather, only the wrong clothes..." Ranulph Fiennes.

I have looked at the weather today and it seems to be forecasting rain all week!

I have ski trousers and jacket for my eldest son and a snowsuit for my youngest, what is recommended for layers underneath dont want to go to mad and have them roasting so they feel ill would a thermal vest, long sleeve t shirt and jumper be ok then suit on top?

Rained all night but suns out today! Sounds good.
