I just wanted to report in, we are down here now and my two kids have been going to Universal the last two days. I was worried about wait times and having to get to the park early to drop them off... We are not staying on site. Anyhow, we dropped them last night at 4pm and they were able to do everything at IOA including Olivander's with the exception of water rides. We dropped them at 2 today so they could watch a show at Universal, and they've done all of Universal now and are back at IOA. From our experience, getting there later in the day seems to be working out better. This may not be true for the weekend, but this week, the evenings have been very light.

Thank you for letting us know! :cool1:

That's great!

The late day plan seems to be working.... The kids made it through all of Universal this afternoon/evening, dinner, back into IOA for several rides and shops, back to Universal to repeat some... they are getting plenty out of their time. I'm glad the two day pass was the same price as the 4 day pass... the other 2 will just be extra's if they want to go again (although we have other things planned).

Keep in mind that later park arrivals only works during busy periods when the parks close after 8pm. This summer isn't an issue but I don't want someone to read this thread and assume getting to the parks at 4pm is always going to be a good idea. If the parks close at 7pm...it's not such a good idea. ;)
