There's been so much written about the SW credit card offers, but bottom line, is the current offer the best one they offer? Or is there a better one they sometimes offer?

For clarification, the current offer I'm seeing is 50,000 points if you spend at least $2,000 in the first 3 months, then 6000 points annually thereafter. And a $99 annual fee.

We applied online yesterday and after we were approved realized that the plus card has a $69 dollar annual fee. We called to cancel the premier card and reapplied for the plus card. You still get 50,000 points, but you only get 3,000 points on your anniversary date instead of 6,000. We found it on the bottom of the apply now page.

for either 69 or 99,I don't see how you can get 'better' than that, it is a LOT of free flying....:thumbsup2 If you could book 4 R/T tix to orlando for 99.00 would you consider that a good deal?:rotfl:

We just got this card about a week ago and are going to use it to by our airfare to WDW. That alone will get us the 2 free round trips. One of the things I like about SW is the there is no change fee if you need to cancel or change dates. And of course the 2 free checked bags. We just plan to budget for the annual fee.
