I’ve always been an aggressive rope dropper… we would park at a Harbor hotel and wait outside security by 6:30 AM. We were always in the first 20-50 guests. We were always THE FIRST on either Rise or Space Mtn - whichever we were going for that day.
Now I’m married (awesome!) and my wife is asking if we can show up a little bit later than that, but still get most of the benefit. We would like to be in the park no later than 8:10.
My plan is to basically skip my “first ride” in the old rope drop itinerary and keep going from ride #2. That way we are still ahead of the wave of crowds.
When should we arrive? Especially considering all the arrival gates are new and probably have slower throughput. Visiting on July 4th. Parking on Harbor, entering from the pedestrian crossing.
