It's not bad when doing smaller add ons. Closing costs are way cheaper than resale closing costs, you get a fully loaded contract and you can use your Chase Disney Visa to get the reward dollars which cover the closing costs pretty much.

Very true. I think I am in a little different situation. I am in Canada so we can't get the credit card and have to pay the exchange - currently about 30%.
Today's pricing via Disney is INSANE. Not sure why anyone would EVER buy from them rather then resale. It's going to take a very, very long time to make that money back, and the perks your losing by resale are worth nothing anyway.

Agree the prices are getting out of hand, but they are selling into the nicer deluxe resorts which historically had higher costs per night, so there is some justification. VWL2 is going to be interesting. If they go high cost per point and high points per night (including the cabins similar to poly), I could see it taking a long time to sell out.
