Current price of rain ponchos?

Pshaw!... Ignore the poncho and enjoy the cooling rain (as long as no lightning). Most rides become walk-ons while the water scaredies hide. You will dry out quickly.

Does it rain a lot December/January.

Not really. Mostly it rains in the warm months when the excessive heat reaches critical mass (between 2 and 4 pm) and collides with a cool front in the stratosphere.

Does it rain in Dec/Jan? Yes (and also occasionally snows). It's not nearly as common as the almost daily afternoon showers Florida get's mid summer. Going that time of the year, I'd buy a couple of cheap dollar store ponchos to throw into you pocket primarily for the water rides and figure throwing them away after a ride or 2. If I was going mid summer I'd consider springing for a more durable poncho that's more comfortable.

The only time it snowed and actually laid in Florida in the last 20 plus years was 1989. Been there got that t-shirt and repair bill for not knowing how to drive in ice.

I got our family Disney ponchos around 5 years ago. I thought they were only around $6-7. I don't like the cheap ones from the dollar store. The Disney ones are much better and re-usable.

I guess the poncho prices go up, just like the ticket prices

We've used the dollar store ones for our previous visits. I don't like them. The only benefits are that they are super cheap and small. However, they are very short for an adult. They don't come down far enough to overlap the cargo shorts I wear. So my shorts end up getting wet.

Fortunately we haven't needed them too much until 2013 when we go a good amount of rain.
