Current Price for BCV resales

I noted there is only one listing for a BCV resale on the Timeshare Store website for $96. a point. Is this a realistic price? What is Disney charging for BCV add-ons? Seems like BCV is a hot commodity presently.

From my understanding if you are an existing DVC member you can buy it for $92 per point through Disney by June 30 and $95 after that. On the resale market BCV is getting a premium since there is a waitlist at Disney. You can make any offer for what ever price you want for resale but it needs to pass Disney's ROFR. I would call the Timesahre store and talk to them and get on their waitlist if you want to buy resale.

BCV is tough right now- we just added two 25 point add-ons (50 total- I've noticed many people in the express grocery lanes can't count very well so I added them up, or is it that those people can't read?) We bought our initial BCV contract from the TSS and were very pleased with their services.

We lost a resale back in December to ROFR and the $92/point with no closing costs makes it a no brainer, if you can find the points and year that works. If I were buying OKW or SSR I would go resale for sure. It seems BCV is very hot, along with BWV, with VWL looking to be on the rise.

call all the resale companies and DVC get on their list and they will call you when a new one comes in. Lots of the time they never get posted because there are so many people that want BCV with so little contracts available.

The resale companies will tell you what they think will pass but it is a guess and you still have to decide if you want to pay more to make sure you will pass.

I did not and Disney bought back the one I was trying to buy.

It seems that in the past resales have waxed and waned. I'd probably wait until there was a bit more available. I suspect it won't always be this tight.

But I also know how add-on-itis can make that difficult or impossible.

I have been on the board sponsor list for quite a while for a small contract with two use year options. No calls.... I am not sure this method works that well.

I was put on the waitlist for Feb use year on May 3rd, current member, at $95 per point already, (was told all others to go up June 30th)
