We will be there tomorrow and priorities for us are signing up my son for Jedi training and riding the Millennium Falcon. We also have droid depot at 1050. Should we head to sign ups first? Are they still by Indiana Jones? Thanks for any advice!

I haven't done this before, but I just read a review of park opening procedures at HS now that they are on the normal hours again. Be forewarned, it has a very very detailed description of the park opening procedures and crowd flows and his sense of humor is irreverent.

Here was the relevant paragraph in the review:

"Jedi Training Academy signups remain a much lower priority than before Toy Story Land opened, but you can still sign kids up down to the left past Hollywood & Vine and 50’s Prime Time. I’d probably take care of that later, though, and instead take up position ahead. When I pass by the signup location just before noon, plenty of spots will remain open."

The hell you say? How exactly is that article remotely irreverent? That was beyond mildly tame, if not overly verbose. lol

Sorry i dont have any advice for you but we are going next week and hoping to signup for Training and MFSR as well to start off the AM. I have been reading a few places that training signup is less popular than a few years ago since most are going to Toy Story rides or MFSR, but i dont have first hand knowledge of this. Please let us know how it goes if you can. Good luck

It's not even close to the mad rush it was to sign up a couple of years ago. If you needed a morning time slot then I'd say get there on the earlier side, but if you are looking for an afternoon time you'd be fine to RD whatever you want to get in first thing, then head to Jedi signups before going to your Droid appointment.

The signup is still to the left of Indiana Jones, around the corner from 50's Prime time.

Thanks so much for everyone’s advice! Here is how our morning went... entered the Skyliner line at Caribbean Beach Resort at 7:58AM and were through bag check, had a few minutes to check out some pins at the store, and were nearly to the holding spot at the end of the boulevard by 8:15AM. It was here one cast member told us Jedi sign ups were already open at that point and she suggested we head there first then come back to the holding line to head to Millennium Falcon. Because of the time we arrived at the park I think it would have worked out perfect and would have saved coming all the way back to the area later. However my son then decided he didn’t want to sign up! The cast member did say we could come back after the ride and there would still be availability to sign up if he changed his mind.
We were off Millennium by 9:30 and seated in Ogas by 9:45 (915 reservation). We were all paid and making our droid by 10:38 (10:50 reservation). It was a great morning! The Skyliner and SWGE are awesome!!!!
