Current exchange rate

Dh has just phoned to say M&S were offering 1.906 on their exchange rate for dollars. Anyone else seen it as high as this?

I got $1.94.26 today at our local Ulster Bank $1000 for £516

We used our egg visa card for most of our purchases. We were told by egg that the rate would be 2.5% below the www.xe.com rate which is the business/banking rate. We were there between 10/12/06 and 27/12/06 and the rate seemed to vary for nearly each transaction, meaning that the rate varied several times a day. Our lowest rate was about 1.89 and the highest was 2.02 on our statement. Also, there is no set commission/fee to pay.

We got 1.90 at M&S a few weeks ago, am glad it's still this high as we are going to get dollars from there next week.
