Current crowds

here now at magic kingdom. I was worried about crowds with reports of selling out, high crowds, etc... but these are absurdly low. Most posted wait times are 10-15 minutes and those are high. We walked onto thunder mountain with maybe... 5 minutes? Circled 3 times.

I wouldn’t worry about the crowds right now.

Realize the party hasn’t started, but the entire wdw is small wait times.

This is historically one of the least crowded weeks of the year, so no surprise from me.

Yes, the week after Labor Day historically has one of the lowest wait times. Enjoy it while you can!

Is it a party day?

It seems the general consensus is that party days make the MK very uncrowded as no one wants to pay to go the park twice in one day, and those not going to the party don't want to pay for a shortened day.

That makes me feel good about choosing my MK day on a day of the Christmas Party.

It is a party day. There were early storms which I think drove some crowds out. We arrived at 12:30 and in 3 hours circled thunder mountain 3 times, had lunch, saw the parade good access, ride Ariel and barnstormer.

We have been at MK since 8am. Other than Peter Pan and Mine Train, haven’t needed FP. Even the things with posted waits of 10 or 15 mins were practically walk on. We were going to do the Halloween party Sunday night but opted to just go tonight since it’s been such a low-key day. Hopefully crowds remain small for the party!

Last two days at Epcot have been very light -until around 2-3pm. At that point, the place starts getting packed and stays that way through close. Totally different vibe as well. The locals seem to make an enormous mess of WS during F&W.

This is the absolute slowest week of the year. The week after Labor Day is low low crowds. Late Aug has everyone who starts school after Labor Day doing last minute summer trips before school starts. Everyone is back in school at this point. I could not believe the wait times this week. We were there in Aug and mine train never went below an hour. Today at one point it was 30 mins. Most things were even less.

Yeah, if anything it will head further North, but they seem to think it will head for the Carolinas. The hurricanes are getting active though, it looked like a few are gearing up behind Florence.

We leave in 4 days. I'm so excited and hope the crowds remain low.
