Current crowd levels

Just curious about the current crowd conditions. Is it normal for it to be so not crowded in June? We just got back from a Thur-Mon trip and loved it. We did AK, MK twice, and Epcot and did not have trouble getting tables at counter service or rearranging ADRs. It was heaven. Weather was fine too with afternoon showers cooling things down every day. It seems to me that summer seems to be the best time--fall trips being too crowded. For what it is worth our last two trips were first week of December and President's day weekend(which I will never do again)...

I spent 10 days at WDW during the end of June through the beginning of July 2014. It was very busy with very high crowd levels. We're leaving for the World again in 3 days to do essentially the same trip. If crowd levels are down right now it will be a relief. Thanks for the update.

Here now. Haven't been to the parks yet. Enjoying the resort and eating too much. We had an 11 at chef Mickey and took the bus to mk around 9:30 and mk was pretty busy looking but we walked right into chef Mickey an hour before our reservation.

We went 1st week of June (same time we always go) and it felt more crowded than past years. Lines out the door at CS at MK at lunch time. Epcot same thing one day very crowded. We had good bus service and loved our resort & the CS there (CSR). Later in the week, did seem slightly better though. (Thur, Fri)

We just got back from a trip from the 9th-17th and have to disagree OP - it was HOT and crowded most days. The "real-feel" temps were 110 or so most days. The day we left (Fri) the weather was much nicer, and at EPCOT the crowd level seemed manageable. However, MK was very busy most days except very early and late at night, although we did get a lot done. Recently I've been going fall/spring however, so I've been spoiled.

Just looked at undercover tourist for what the crowd levels were. It was 8/10 each day at each park we were at. Def did not feel that crowded. Maybe it was just the way we toured...the longest wait we had was Joy & Sadness at about 7:45 pm on Saturday. Everything else was fast pass, rope drop, or late at night.

Could the tragedies in Orlando and GF be impacting the numbers? Maybe not folks with reservations already, but maybe the day-trippers? I was trying to convince a friend to plan a Disney trip with her 5 year old granddaughter and she says NO WAY because of the alligator thing. SMH.

Epcot, especially World Showcase, wasn't crowded at all today. AK yesterday was the same story. We've been here since last Monday, and it's almost like what we came to expect when we would visit in late April and early May.

I'm certainly not complaining :)

We were there June 3-16, and found it quite crowded and hot. Our usual travel times have been in the off seasons, so this was a new experience for us.

Our dates were 16-20. It rained a little each day 16-19. I think that helped cool things off.

I can't remember what site you can go to to see what the actual crowd levels were...there are tons that say what they are supposed to be. Anybody know?

You can look on touring plans, it does show the crowds around father's day were lower, TP had close predictions on what crowds were actually like. I wonder if it was father's day weekend making crowds lighter or something else...interesting....

Here now. Got here on Thursday night, in the parks since Friday. We're very pleasantly surprised how light the crowds are. We were in Epcot on Sunday and it was definitely noticeable how much less crowded it was than other times we've been here in late June. Last night we were in AK from 4:30pm to 10:45pm and the crowd was fairly light also (off topic...the Jungle Book show got a "so-so" review from my entire family, including me).

We're here until July 4th. We fully expect the crowd to grow day by day until then.

I like hearing that early June may not be bad crowd wise. We've gone later in the summer and yes it was busy but I like to be at the parks at rope drop and then head back to the resort to swim after lunch. My kids get out of school the earliest they ever have next year, June 1! We'll be heading to WDW on June 2!

We are also going Thanksgiving week this year. I'm just going to go expecting the parks to be really busy. I'll just tell myself if we don't get a ton done, we'll be back in June!
