current carry on regulations?

HI,
I haven't traveled to the States in a while. I fly next month to Oregon. Can anyone tell me what the current rules regarding carry ons are? Is it still no magazines etc? Or have things relaxed a bit?

One personal item and one carry-on ... magazines (and electronics) are allowed. Check with your airline carrier as to carry-on baggage size restrictions.
