Current best trails for viewing animals at AKL?

we're checking in to the AKL for a week next week with a savannah view room; nonsmoking, 1 queen and bunk beds;

Anyone stay recently with advice on which trail currently is offering the most awesome view of animals?

We don't mind walking from the elevator and don't mind walking to pool or Mara. Actually prefer quieter--but want best view of most animals.

been there twice and it's my experience that all savanah rooms have animal views. The rooms on the inside of the arc seem to have a few more and a larger variety of animals but we were not disappointed with our room on the outside of the arc. Just one word if you cannot get on the inner side of the arc, make sure that you are not near an intersection of two buidings. The animals do not come into these areas very far.

Both times we stayed at AKL we were on the Zebra Trail, 3rd floor, overlooking the Arusha savannah. We had great views of the animals. In July we had a great room about one third of the way down the hallway that had no trees in the way of seeing the animals. The ankole cattle were laying down near our balcony. Giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests were nearby. The best time to view the animals is early in the morning or later in the afternoon and evening.

We were on the Kudu trail room 4225. It was a great room It was kind of an end room. It was the last room before one of the many walkways that are all glass to see the animals. It was a great room we ALWAYS saw a lot of animals all day long. And we had just a little bit bigger balcony because of the corner.
