What princesses have been at Akershus lately? I just made a breakfast ADR for 9:20 for Saturday, May 18 (I'll keep looking for an earlier time but this isn't too bad). I know Belle will be in her yellow gown in the lobby taking pictures, but what princesses are roaming in the restaurant? And how is the food? I'm mostly interested in the Norwegian fare, since I love to try new things. I'm hoping it's not all Americanized and "dumbed-down" but I fear it will be. Oh, and how early should we arrive at Epcot for a 9:20 reservation? Will they let us in a bit early before Epcot officially opens (at 9am that day)?

So I write this post, then happened to recheck on the Disney website, and an 8:20am ADR pops up! How lucky for us! Woo hoo! So, new question, what time should we plan on catching the bus from Coronado Springs to make it to this ADR on time (with a stop for a family pic in front of the Epcot ball)? I'm thinking be at the bus stop by 7:10-7:15ish? Our ADR is on Saturday, May 18th.

We were there last saturday for lunch.

Belle was using her yellow dress and she was receiving guest by the entrance. All the photo packages are with Belle.

Besides Belle, the other princess were: Aurora, Ariel, Snow White and Cinderella.

I'm not sure if the food is fair to Norwegian cuisine, but if I have to bet, I bet not. Anyways, our party tried the meatballs (Kjottkake ), the hen, the salmon, and everything was very good.

The service was very good too and the princess interactions, absolutely great.

Bottom line, it was worthy and we would do it again. Even so, next time, probably we'll try CRT or 1900 park fare.

We were there for breakfast last month. The same princesses were there as mentioned by pp above, Aurora, Snow White, Ariel and Cinderella. The breakfast served at the table is 100% normal American eggs, potatoes, etc.. The buffet had fruit salad and pastries, as well as some Norweigian options like herring, salmon, and other stuff I didn't try. :lmao:

Truthfully I wasn't that impressed. The breakfast was just okay (we much preferred Tusker House), and the princesses were in a super rush to get around. Cinderella was great but the others honestly did not seem to enjoy their job much. :confused3

Yesterday for breakfast it was Ariel, Aurora, Snow White and Cinderella and Belle. It was lovely!!

Hi, we are going to be at disney for 5-6 days and only 1 ticket per day (not a park hopper ticket). I would love to go here for breakfast in the morning but then we want to go to typhoon lagoon afterwards. Can we enter for breakfast only - is this at a hotel or will we need tickets for epcot to get in?

It is in Epcot and you will need to use a ticket to enter.

You could have breakfast at 1900 Park Faire in the Grand Floridian. Otherwise plan for Akershus on your Epcot day.

None of the Princesses are guaranteed at any of the meals. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by Belle in her yellow outfit. If Belle is unwell, you will be greeted by Ariel. Inside you will usually get Snow White, Aurora/Sleeping Beauty, Ariel and Cinderella. If any of the Princesses are unwell you might get Jasmine, Alice, Mary Poppins and very rarely Mulan. There have been several reports of Jasmine appearing instead of Cinderella but as I mentioned, no characters are guaranteed at any of the character meals.

We were there on the 7th for breakfast. It was Belle greeting, and Aurora, Cinderella, Snow While, and Ariel in the dining room. The food is very Americanized at breakfast - the hot platter is all standard breakfast foods (eggs, sausage, bacon, and cheese potatoes), but there are a few Norwegian touches on the buffet (pickled herring and trout, smoked salmon, a Norwegian cheese, lingonberry jam for the pastries, etc).

We were at the El Centro bus stop at CSR at 7:30 and were a few minutes late checking in for our 8:05 ADR, but we'd *just* missed an Epcot bus so it was probably 7:45 before we boarded by the time we waited for the next one.

OP, Thanks for asking this, we will be there at the exact same time. Now I have a better idea of which princess dress DD should wear. :)

Water park tickets are a separate media from "regular" 4 park tickets ( MK,MK,Epcot,HS)
