Going on the Western soon. In Grand Cayman and Cozumel, are Ameican dollars taken, or do we have to go through the hassle of converting everything?

news flash.....there really isn't anywhere in the world that won't take US dollars...it might be the worst exchange rate known to man, but they'll be happy to take your greenbacks.....

Credit card companies will always do the conversion for you so Dollars are not an issue; besides it is not a good idea to walking around with a lot of cash anyway.
