Where's the best place to buy Travellers Cheques at the moment? I would rather go into a shop rather than on-line?

If you have a Travelex near you they seem to be the best (have to order and pay on line, then go to shop to collect). The one near us has shut down typically!!
If you have't got a Travelex look on www.moneysavingexpert.com/travel , then go down to travel money maximiser. They update their comparison chart daily.

Have a look at Marks & Spencer.......they usually seem to be slightly higher than Travel Agents

Yeah, I always get my money from M&S. Helps that I have a M&S card which means I can change my money without having to pay that commission fee!

No real difference between M&S and the post office, both commission free for foreign TC.
The PO might be handier if you don't fancy online.

The Post Office I found was pretty good when I got my currency, no comission as well but I know thats quite common at alot of places.
And in my local post office they have a seperate section for foreign currency, so you don't really have to wait around
