Currency and T/Chqs

We are now looking at buying our holidy money ane the best I have found is travelex.co.uk at 1.54, commission free. Has anyone used this site, good or bad? Also they issue Thomas Cook t/chqs not American Express, is this likely to be a problem - last time we took AMEX and everywhere accepted them.

Never used them beofre Astrid, but you will have no problems using Thomas Cook cheques, I have used them there before (when I worked for Cook's) and I have also used the Co-operative Bank issued ones as well, again no probs.

Used Travelex before and was very pleased with them.

Okay, this could have been because I ordered two weeks before the holiday at $1.61 and by the time I came to pick them up at the airport it had dropped to $1.57, but I still got the rate I ordered them at!
