Anyone else here seen it? Fantastic movie. Funny at times, very sad, well acted, fascinating story.

Yes, we saw it last night and loved it!

I adore Brad Pitt. I couldn't believe how young they made him and Cate Blanchett look.

I want to see the movie, however I'm such a blubbering, sad fool at movies that are sad in the least so maybe I'll wait for it to be on DVD.

Any good comedies out there? You know one that the only crying I'll do is because I'm laughing so hard. :rotfl:

I saw it last night. I am indeed a cryer when it comes to sad movies (Marley & Me about did me in!). I found myself "welling up" a few times but this movie didn't get me to full-blown tears.

It was well done, it had great special effects (I'm sure the DVD will have some extras on how they made Brad Pitt look old and young and I can't wait to see that), and it had a sweet story. I saw the similarities to Forrest Gump but not TOO many. When people say that New Orleans is more than a location but more like a main character in the story I totally get what they are saying. What a great "location" film.
