Hi everyone...
I was just browsing... I'm wondering what is the average price (Flight hotel and tickets) that it costs to go to DW from England?
It must be a fortune!!! Last Disney trip I went on cost ME over $5000!! and we drove there from New Jersey.
Maybe there's package deals ??

:coffee: << me at the moment...

If a family Mom, Dad and two kids aged 6 and 8 went to Disneyworld for 2 weeks in May this year, flying scheduled (Virign Atlantic), with car hire and tickets (14 day WDW unlimited pass and 4 park flex ticket for Universal and Seaworld) it would cost about $6600 exchange rate of $1.70 to the £. Now it can be alot cheaper if flying by charter and staying off site.

Claire ;)

We stayed on site at ASM, resort with a car, and 14 days ticket, 2 adults and 1 child, and holiday worked out $5500 ish.

That is a package deal booking via a travel agent.

If the same family booked with TravelCity Direct, flying charter and staying at the Best Western Lakeside for two weeks in May this year, with same tickets it would cost $4930 or there abouts at the exchange rate of $1.7 to the £.
Both are package holidays with two of the main UK operators to Florida.

It depends on when you go, some times of the year are double the price of others.
We are paying £849 adult price for this coming August, if we would have gone in April it would have been £499 - unfortunatley a lot of us in the UK can only go during the school holidays.
The price therefore we are paying is much higher.

If you include our 3 week villa hire of £1200 , theme park tickets (fortunatley we already have brand new 10 day MYW Disney passes and APs for Universal)..spending money(fortunatley we had $1500 left over from last August)....we also upgrade our flight seats on the return trip so our son can have a decent sleep.... however I don't want to think about it anymore in case I realise how much this is costing us! :(

We own at BCV so don't have to pay for a room but still reckon to spend around $8,000 for a two week trip for the two of us. But we don't fly economy (coach) so that bumps it up a bit.

I dont like to think too much about how much it costs
Being a teacher I have to so during summer hols when flights are so expensive.
We are paying approx $1460 pp for flights $210 towncar from airport to SSR. Then using DVC points to stop. ( Dosn't seem so expensive booking through points)
;)

Hello Jamie Marie

Most of our costs are the same as yours apart from air fare, insurance (don't want medical bills of any kind in the USA  ) and probably car hire I guess. The exchange rate has been kind to us for the last couple of years though.

I'm another DVC owner so I never book a package. Flights (schedule) are from around $550 per person, coach, and easily double that at peak times, but then I think that happens to you too. :(

We budget for around $650 for a mini-van for 2 weeks and buy a package in the UK with insurance and taxes included. I must admit that I wouldn't care to know how much I've spent Florida holidays over the last 18 years. Still, priceless memories ;)

Love your pictures btw :goodvibes
