curious about your Disney Grooms...

Hello all. There are some grooms to be out there who are nuts about Disney. I know I'm one of them. I've been crazy about Disney since i was young but when i met my DF, her and her 2 kids had never been so i took them that first year we were together and we've been back each of the last 7 years. Last year i proposed to her at the wishing well on our way to CRT. While she was busy making a wish (probably for bottomless Dole Whips!!) i got down on one knee.

When she first turned around she thought i was changing the lens on the camera until she saw the ring. she was so shocked she screamed as as she had no idea i was planning to propose. But of course she said yes.

This is the second marriage for both of us so WDW was a perfect place for us to get married. We are getting married September 30th at SBP surrounded by 13 of our family members.

I'm the creative one (according to Charlotte) so i've been working out all the details, making the welcome bags, shirts, favours, newletters etc. Never realized this was going to be so much work lol, but i love it. What am i going to do after this is all over?

I'm sure there are more Disney groom's to be out there lurking like i have been, a little intimaded to speak up.

My DH and I are both major Disney lovers. My mom, also a disney lover, took us there several times growing up. When I met DH, we realized in the "getting to know each other" process that we both loved WDW!! We planned our first vacation (to WDW, of course) and he proposed 5 weeks before we left and said, why don't we make our trip our honeymoon?? I said YES That was ten years ago when we eloped to WDW and married on the beach at Caribbean Beach resort!! Then, on 5-27-08, we celebrated ten years together with a DFTVR and all our family and friends in attendance We both love WDW so much that we bought DVC in 2004

My partner and I are both huge Disney fans, we met when we worked there on the International Program at Epcot. Since coming back to the UK we moved in together and are planning our 2009 comitment cermony at Disney! We can't wait.

my husband and i met while i was on my cp in 2002! when we got engaged, there was no question as to where we would be married.

our wedding was this past january at sbp, the same place we met (the bw) years ago!

My husband and I met on a Disney game site - Virtual Magic Kingdom. Since I lived on the West coast and he lived on the East Coast, it was our main source of keeping in touch every day. (cough cough - and Dis Pm)

After a few visits back and forth we decided that two Disney/Star Wars/ computer geeks were meant for eachother.

I moved here to about 20 min from WDW and we were married last Feb in a small ceremony with family and many of our VMK friends in a 2 bdrm Villa at OKW.

Great time was had by all, and we try to make it to the Parks at least once a week

There's a virtual Disney?!! Ok perhaps DF will take a liking to Disney if he knows that... TOTAL computer/gaming geek.

We'll be staying at OKW for our wedding/honeymoon in Jan 09!!!

Parks at least ONCE A WEEK?!! I consider myself lucky if I make it there once a year. I suppose that's what I get for living in MN. That and lots of snow.

the international program is just like the college program, but for people from other countries!
